Stack Bundles, do I know you from elsewhere?
And I just, uh, did? I've done some work on websites before and offered to give a hand with the forums and site if it was ever needed. Basically, that's all there was to it. I think there was enough history to help prove that it was a good choice.

They're not really worth posting about. One of us gets rid of it when we can and they're always in the same forum for some reason lol. If you want to report it, there's a button that helps a lot... that way I get e-mailed about the post right away.

I have an interview largely regarding Persona 3 loosely scheduled with Atlus for a month or so from now. I can try sneaking that in there.
There's far more reasons why it's not worthwhile than why it is. The only "good" reason I can think of is that we want to be able to play and easily understand it. Pretty much every thing else from their angle is "bad" from an income and stability point of view.

Well, another lebsian topic in Digitalize, I wonder if those guys ever quit. Unfortunately, no. It's mostly just bots that are sent over here automatically and somehow even get past the image recognition software. I've banned a lot of their major domains, so it's decreasing, but it's hard to kill entirely. It picks up sometimes. Hopefully we'll be able to keep it to a minimum.

roflao, I am afraid to say my Japanese has been somewhat overestimated. Most of the translations I make are derived from the IME pad and then plugged into http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/cgi-bin/wwwjdic.cgiI just completed the second year of my basic japanese course, but seriously, anyone can do that with a rudimentary knowledge of Japanese. I do recognise a few kanji since I have a background in Chinese, but the advantage is minimal. Hey, you helped where no one else was really able to, so I think that's worth a big thanks lol. :buh: And yeah, that's a LOT of money. That'll take some time. There's also some French players at RPG-Z... I know at least a few of them know English, so I'm sure they'd be willing to help out. Last I saw, they seemed to be pretty far in it. Does anyone know if there's any word on when this beta even ends?

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll work that into the guide later on tonight and hopefully get to mess around in the game more. My guy is only level 3... lol
One thing I'd like to add to it: where do you get those dungeon plates?
I wish I did understand the language. I have nothing to really start from, so playing this game isn't exactly helpful in that... although I find myself recognizing certain words over and over, which is a start. It's a shame, since I've had some players help me, I'd :) at them and they'd say something back, but I have no clue what it was. You can manage the menu system by trial and error, but the actual real people interaction is much more difficult.
I really should buy a book or something.

Picked up Izuna today. How are you liking this? It seemed like my type of game, so this isn't a major effect... but overall it's been getting some BAD reviews. Even from RPG-centric places.

Cool, thanks. I'll see if I can verify that bullet idea you had. Unfortunately, taking all the time to write that up, I've not gotten to even mess around in the game as much as I would have liked to lol. In my experience, if you keep using a gun the character will reload it himself... but perhaps that would be useful if you want to be more prepared with guns with larger magazines. The one I have apparently only holds one bullet at a time lol. Got something else. Under the settings menu, the very last two options where you have two choices each lets you; 1 - remove shadows(top option for shadows, bottom for no shadows), and 2 - take away that sort of dream-like haziness the game has. Clicking the bottom option makes everything crystal clear. Disabling both of these will help the game run faster. Yeah, I made some quick mentions of that. I called that haziness the light halo effect, but I don't know what it's really considered. I probably should make that section more clear? lol Honestly, I'm kind of amazed by how intensive this game is. There really doesn't seem to be THAT much going on, but it runs kind of slow even with a lot of the effects off for me. I really can't believe the minimum requirements are what they are.

I'll have to get that book. I just ordered Kazuma Kaneko Works II (finally) and that Persona 3 art book today. I tend to deal with import sites as opposed to Amazon, but I guess it doesn't matter with books, right? I'd be willing to scan some of the stuff in the U.S. Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou guide, if there's any demand. I doubt these pictures are rare, but the offer still stands.
Oh, and for reasons beyond my comprehension (I don't remember saving them), I have most of the little bullet icons from that game. In 32 x 32 gif files. Go figure. I'd be interested in those icons, personally.

Oh yeah, I started translating the information regarding the various demon cards we get when we defeat stuff. You know those Jack Frost pictures we pick up? Yes those are demon cards. I think you can exchange them for rewards if you turn them in in a set. Like Jack Frost and Jack Lantern makes a certain combo you can turn in. I am not really sure what combos are possible though. Yeah, I was wondering what the deal with those was. I read a bit about them on the official site, but honestly what I could make out (I'm stuck with Google Translate lol) made no sense in any remote way. Thanks for the dungeon info. I'm not sure when I'll pop on next (probably in the evening, Central Standard Time). My newer character (I deleted the last one) is only level 1, but I'll work on that. He's named 吉国.

The Red and Blue icons I think reflect whether or not the demon is higher level than you, because there are demons you cannot tame even though they are lower level than you. Yeah, I was thinking that as well. Even in the opening Virtual Battle area, you notice that the slimes have blue icons next to them. Tony: Yes it is part of the language bar, under the drop down menu with the pencil cup icon, first option. Interesting, thanks. I greatly appreciate your help here so far.
