I'm starting to wonder if they didn't bother with DS on PSP because they figured it would sell like crap. I mean, even big publishers with well known franchises seem to be doing rather poorly on there... I don't know if I blame them for it.

All I really want is for Atlus USA to commit to a concrete stance on the localization of FES.

Well in that case, you and I are in agreement.

They have a hotlinking system installed. If you go to the site and just refresh the image link, it works fine. Not something I could easily tell considering I'd already been to the site.

As for FES, eh. It's a lot of content to translate and including it for free with the first release of the title would cut their margins down to nothing, if not make them negative. If it does well enough, maybe they'll bother to... It certainly would make sense. It's not like they're done with the older platforms yet, clearly.

This might have been covered before (I'm tired, so forgive me), but if the time comes and you need a place to distribute necessary files from or whatever else... just let me know. It's very much something I'd like to support as much as I possibly can.

I'm not entirely sure that many people here play it any longer, unfortunately. I think after the initial "neat, free beta!" buzz ended people moved on to things they could actually understand lol.

I managed to get the http://www.digitaldevildb.com/games/shin_megami_tensei_online_imagine/">Shin Megami Tensei Online: IMAGINE section back up today. As of this post the screens page still needs to be added, but every thing else is the way it was. This includes the http://www.digitaldevildb.com/games/shin_megami_tensei_online_imagine/guide_part1.php">beta play guide, since I've been asked about that a few times recently.

If there's something that's changed since the beta or should be corrected, just let me know.

Well, yeah, I remember cartridge games being more, but I don't recall ever paying that much for a game on PlayStation.

In any case, I'll change the date to 1996... that's kind of surprising because if the Japanese version did, in fact, come out in September of that year there wasn't much space between the two releases.

The U.S. release date is incorrect. I am guessing someone might have pulled that from Gamefaqs. I picked up my copy at release at a Software Etc in December of '96 -- I paid about $65 for it and still have the receipt somewhere. I played it through the entirety of my Christmas vacation.

Boy, that place was expensive. You know, my copy is stored somewhere... what is the date on the back of it? I'm sure that'd verify the 1996 release.

It's nice to read a preview that actually goes somewhat beyond the surface for once. So far a lot of these I could have gotten from reading the back of the box lol

Also, that video bored the shit out of me.

Well, it is just a story scene full of tons of dialog. Any scene of that sort that you just watch in some streaming video will probably be dull. It did its job, though... showed off the voice acting, which I know a lot of people are interested in.

Well, as always, if you're in a situation where you feel a post is unnecessarily mean/rude/stupid or if someone is just being completely ridiculous in general you can just let me know and I'll see how I can deal with it. You can just PM or report the post with that little icon. Getting frustrated and turning things into an even bigger argument rarely work out in my experience.

It's certainly not my intention for this place to be a source of aggravation for anyone, although I also can't make every last person on the planet happy either lol. Sometimes the balancing act will piss a couple people off no matter what you wind up doing.

Hello, I'm new here!  I'm a big fan of the Persona series and other Megaten titles...

I'm a gamer/game journalist on the side... I just finished playing through Persona 3 and man, that game was wonderful... I'll be posting up some vids/screen caps very soon!
