Will the wki url be changing to something with Imagine in it?

Minor nitpicking. I don't think it's completely cogent to mention "D3" in the Imagine wiki's content pages. It should suffice the wiki is hosted by digitaldevildb.com for now. Also for the Imagine community to feel it is a fully public resource it should be fully commutable (ie, just incase "integration scripts" are at all non-portable -- or anything that might tie it too much into other internal resources)

In other words, lets keep it looking like something that could be hosted anywhere, and not let anyone other than the contributors feel a sense of ownership of it!

editted: The host should feel free to draw advertising revenue from the wiki if need be! However if some host is able to host it without advertisements, the contributors should be able to collectively decide to move the wiki (new content) to such a host. Also it would be cool if a snapshot of the file tree was available for download and updated monthly (better yet a cvs if possible -- which would mean less traffic for the host!)

Shouldn't this thread be moved to the new IMAGINE forum! Or maybe even locked now that it's obsolete?

As for account setup, if you created it with a gmail account a long time ago you are fine. If you were able to do so recently, then that is news! So post it in the IMAGINE forum if so.

I agree with Heat on this; we're not in a neopets forum or something, (now that's mayhem), and I haven't seen any real trouble here outside of the occasional bot ;>_>

Uh it might look that way, but Megaten forums have a tradition of going down in flames! Once all the usual faces are finished licking their wounds and come here looking for more, you'll be glad a proactive system is in place. And I applaud any system which removes arbitrary arbitration from the formula!

To be honest. I didn't even realize this site existed for a long time! Well I did, but the last time I checked it there was no activity, and it was mostly famous (linked) for having some info / graphics regarding the original DDS anime. If not for word of mouth on a very specific topic, I would never have thought to check for activity!

So maybe the best thing that could be done for dddb is some kind of advertising program. I don't know if it is bad internet etiquette, but what if someone just made some posts in other forums asking netizens to check you out? I think it would bring up your numbers. Might seem less dubious if you did't plug the bbs sectioin specifically :)

There has to be more left of the Megaten community. They can't all be in Gamefaqs and AtlusUSA forums, or hulled up in the MH compound!

Hey, I'm learning Japanese not even enough to call me "semi-fluent" but I can at least read the Katakana, and Hiragana, less the Kanji. But I wouldn't mind knowing some english-folk on here. My name's あとらんてす mainly because I forgot to convert it to Katakana before hitting continue.

Unfortunately I'm still near the beginning. Also, I don't know if it's my own mistranslation, but I have a stat-down that keeps making me do 1 damage to any enemy, and I can't find the item to get it off me. Any of you know off the top of your head what/where this item is?

Your weapon is broken! The weapons dealers will repair it for you, but at your level, buying a new weapon would probably be much more affordable.

If you want to join the klan, please try to find the posts in the thread which outline using the town terminal to join (editted: I promise to try to edit this information into the top of the thread asap -- but I'm a little disappointed with the weak showing of the klan so far -- the 4chan klan created at the same time has about 24+ lv30 players!)

CP still appears unavailable to US cardholders. Has anyone been able to purchase CP with a Non-Japanese card over the last month or two?

If you are trying to set a speed record for some reason, I'd focus on speed so you can escape every fight, and save/reload a lot, occasionally stopping to kill extremely higher level demons with explotiable weaknesses for massive exp -- disclaimer: I've never played SMT3 myself.

Me and The13thChyld need to finish the Ash dungeon quest (Act4: Azura) sometime around next weekend between 0:00GMT(9:00TOKYO) and 9:00GMT(18:00TOKYO) time.

I can't guarantee the days. It just depends when my hours are in phase -- I don't sleep like other humans! Could be a few days into next week at the latest, or a few days later if need be for your convenience.

We can use players in the high teens or higher. If you want to finish the quest for youself, your char needs to be at least lv20 (this is a hard requirement)

You can read up on the quest requirements in the quest faq available courtesy gamefaqs.com and its author.

In the meantime if players want to try to level your char or complete the Act3 quest. One of should be available any time day or night circumstances not conflicting.

If anyone needs it, I got the "uber-duper pimped codec-ed" version of Classic Windows Media player.  Even if a file is corrupt to the max and causes everything to crash, this beauty will keep running it.

I could go for that. I'm always downloading stuff in standard formats Windows apps won't play while Linux apps have no problem!

However some perhaps unexpected nakama are ridable, such as large birds:

Kerberos like devils will be ridable as well as horse types presumably. Very few options exist for lower level players it would seem. It might be the smaller player models can ride more demons but that is purely based on the observation that many demons that would appear ridable would appear silly when fitted with larger players (most likely these demons will not be ridable or will receive size adjustments or will simply look silly if ridden -- in any case it should be an interesting update)

It appears this feature was to be amongst the Xmas updates, but was pulled at the last minute because of likely unforseen complications. It is promised for the month of January last I checked.


PS: Another really cool feature I played with tonight for the first time is three-way fusion. The most interesting aspect being three players are required to complete the fusion, each providing a nakama. More powerful devils require special story items called "Plugins" to be fused. I suspect players can share plugins via three-way fusion, and no single player can collect all plugins, but that is speculation on my part.


EDIT: I just checked the mailing list. The steed update has been scheduled for the 24th.

I got an error like that before too. But since the facelift everything seems to work for me and a mate so far. You might wanna try again or with another browser etcetera.

The persona output colour seems very non-representitive to me. I wouldn't do so to the original rips. But it took me about a minute to open all the files, and use the Photoshop auto-level processor (ctrl+shift+L with my version) on each one, then re-save them all.

Made browsing much easier, though I'm sure there is a better way to post process them!

editted: I imagine why the colour is washed out is a ghosting (accumulation) effect is applied to the Persona(e) in-game.
