This thread is a list of site bugs. Please report whatever you experience, so we can keep track of them and thwart them asap.

The rest of this post is a list of known bugs (outstanding)

*A multilingual Wordpress plugin we're using (Polyglot) accidentally translates pages that partially match a language switch (eg. /franchisers/ will switch to French, because it starts with /fr, which is wrong... /fr/franchisers/ would be French, though we try to always put the language switch at the end of the url -- and I might fix that as well when I get around to this)

Visiting the website, I noticed the pitchfork font for the Es

I wonder how using Devil in the title jibes with what I think is Atlus USA's policy of not calling the devils "devils"??? They call them demons instead from what I can understand. Will Atlus USA be rethinking that policy now I wonder?? Is Devil finally a safe word in The States... in the 21st century??

Woops, I thought the website url should be more prominent, and I noticed your original formulation had the link at the end, which seems useful... so I made some changes. Let me know if you'd like to change anything I changed. Even though you're an Editor I think, I don't think I have it setup for Editors to change published posts.


edited: Having the url in the post messed up the column justification bad (you might've noticed) so I stuck it in the title. Seems to work ok.

For the record, I changed the thread subject and headline (was Devil Survivor Site Goes Live)

Good job with Wordpress btw. I just changed the formatting a little so to make adding translations easier (all the translations go in the same post)

You actually did a good job, but you did a Page style translation (which is actually tougher than a News style translation)

Just login from the front page, and choose Write New Post or whatever. Do the best you can, and set it to Pending Review, then SAVE when you're done

I dunno. I think I'm a goody-two-shoes and blunt when it comes to calling a spade a spade or whatever, or just in general. But yeah, if people have a problem with me, they must be dysfunctional/antisocial (read: and or) in the first place. But this is the internet after all So that is my problem, and I'll just keep on awkwardly trying to fit in. It's something about the Megaten demographic in general too. I just don't seem to fit.

Of course everyone promptly returns to the black holes from which they're spewn. That too is just something about the demographic.

I won't give up on the site, but I haven't signed on for content, though I do try my hand from time to time. I'm more worried about the site disappearing for technical reasons (also it bothers me it can't get off the ground)

Tony did everything single-handedly more or less. It was amazing really. But like anything that way, he eventually burned out, and had to move on (and for whatever reason -- apparently without looking back) ...I won't have that trouble though. But I'm also not the charismatic leader I think people expect me to be (I just know internet tech, and use the site to practice/learn new things really -- though I'm somehow always getting roped into hours and hours of trivial work someone else could be doing )

I'll get this up ASAP. Thanks for getting the image width right btw... and the writing is very well spoken / charismatic. You could be a real asset around here if you can keep it up

I backed up all the images in this post a while back. I will try to restore them asap. In the meantime I noticed many of the images in the posts on this page are now dead (http://www.digitaldevildb.com/page/2/)

We (I) were really lazy about getting proper image links up I guess


PS: If you (anyone that is) can help make/find suitable replacement images for those news posts, that would be awesome (really)

Ok, I think I fixed all of the boxart images. I also split off a couple commentary topics (about the images being linkdead) to avoid confusion and unnecessary loading of the supplementary images Emilio had provided in the meantime. I will probably just move the split topic into the VIP board for safe keeping

It's definitely a high profile site, but without any writing staff, what can you do

I'm afraid the community is not super mature or overly enthusiastic (and I'm probably detracting from the viability of the website for saying so)

Many more vocal people seem to have personal grudges against me personally. But I dunno if that boding unfavorably for this website or not has any legs. I think such people are a little more self-important than they actually are (important) ...but time will tell if new fans emerge or come out of the woodwork I guess. The old ones are certainly not being useful -- nor is the original proprietor of this website. I don't actually know if we can even secure the digitaldevildb.com domain name (http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=digitaldevildb.com&type=domain)

I found that box shot, but was kinda hoping for a straight up four right angles cropped scan (the kind we use around the website )

Awesome! ...the website has been too quiet lately. I'm getting close to pronouncing it dead (in stasis) I'm afraid~

PS: I'm thinking about changing the help wanted post around to be about Contributing first. Since I'm beginning to think people think we have a staff or something, when really we have no one!!
