He represents the god of Christianity and is the final boss in Megami Tensei. Throughout the game it deceives everyone who believe in him. The anti-Christian message is thought to be partially responsible for the game not being released stateside.

The idealogy followed by the Mantra, headed by Gozu-Tennoh, that reside in Ikebukuro. Yosugo is based on strength alone. The strong survive and the weak are removed. Right and wrong are decided merely by strength and combat.
