Do you still host the official dds fan listing, because I can't find it on your site. She removed the fanlisting for some reason. I think she got all pissed off when TFL was whining about her SMT3 listing (I think) because she wasn't showing the updates on the main page, but rather using an update journal. All her fanlistings are, currently, dead. I think she killed off some sites with the fanlistings, as well. Of course, I'm not exactly "in the know" with her, so I could be wrong.

I can change my av if it's bothering some people. I just thought since I'm promoting the artist's site for him/her anyway... Well, I'll change it anyway to avoid any problems. If it's "bothering" people, then they need to gtfo the internet. Seriously. If anyone that isn't the artist bothers you about your avatar, tell them to shut the hell up and mind their damn business, or you'll bite their face off.

Oh, I know. I have nothing against cosplay but people using OTHER people in their avatars is just weird. Unless they ask or something...or if it's a friend. But if it's someone you don't know then yea, weird.
One reason I stopped using music artist and movie celebrities in my designs. D: I'm not weird.

EDIT: Are their people using cosplay images in their avatars? Ok, I'm sorry. I find that really weird. x_x; Fanart I can see but pictures of other people??? What? ARE THEIR, ARGILLA!? ARE THEIR!? Ha...h.. Right. I've made an avatar out of a cosplayer. Though, I did it mostly because I can't find any decent Chiaki screenshots. I haven't used it, though. It IS weird using people, and that's why I haven't really used it. Which is a pity, because I like how it turned out. Whatever.

The only thing I'm worried about is that even though it's a good thing that she linked the site, did she ask to use the art? Some sites have those trackers installed inside their counters so they can see where they're getting there hits...and if it points to this forum. D: Yea, I just don't want any commotion... Well then, then they can come in, and request the avatar to be removed. No drama has to be made over something as simple as an avatar. What about using Cosplay in ones avatar? Is that, too, like a form of using fanart? My only real risk with the change is being yelled at by some person I'll never meet and removing an image lol. Meh, if they make a big deal out of it, then you can get satisfaction from the fact that the person is making a big deal out of something that could be solved easily by just requesting, nicely, that the item be removed.

I just put it down because people always bitch about it otherwise. The second you use something that some random fan online made without giving some link is the second someone PMs you telling you to put the link in. I'm just going with the tide here. If there's anything I hate more than Yaoi Obsessed Fan Girls, it's Fan Art Zealots. Ok, that's a lie. But still. I really don't see the big deal as long as, if asked, you provide the source. And, it's not like you're making money off of it. Honestly, if you post something on the internet, you're going to have to deal with the fact that, if your art or whatever is good enough, people will use it. But, whatever. Your forum, your rules. If you don't want your art being used, though, don't post it on the goddamn internet. Anyways, I didn't say anything about claiming the art as one's own -- obviously that's extremely pathetic. Plagiarization annoys me. If you ask the person, it's fine. If you didn't, it's not fine. Seriously, if someone states, "Please don't reproduce my art." Then please be nice and not do it. Simple as that. Yeah, but you can't really enforce it. You see signs -- "Don't walk on the grass" -- people will do it anyways. I think I veered away from the point I was trying to make, and honestly, I can't recall what the hell the point was I was trying to make, so, I'm done. I'm just chasing myself in a circle. Edit: I've considered removing the art section that I have on my site from time to time. I don't really visit the main site -- just the forum. But, I checked out the artwork section, and I think you should just remove the watermarks... I mean, really, is it necessary? Sure, you scanned them, but you didn't draw them. I hate watermarks with a passion.

Please keep in mind fanart rules when submitting avatars or smilies or anything else. Utilizing someone else's fan work without permission is not allowed here or anywhere else, regardless of whether or not you understand the language of the page you got it from. This doesn't make much sense -- you use official art, right? Pretty much everyone uses it without permission, so... I really don't see how one can say you can't use fanart, but you can use official art. Ultimately, both were drawn by someone else, and both are posted publicly, whether it be online, in artbooks, in games, etc. I really have no desire to use fanart in my avatars, but I figured I might as well ask, as this somewhat "universal" rule has always been something that's bothered me.

Sure Chipp could do that, if only he didn´t get K.Oed in the first 10s of the round... He´s as frail as a fly! I like the character, don´t get me wrong, but Jam is as fast as him and can take more hits, so... If you're no good with him, then yeah.

I also forgot Kliff Undersn:nolaff: I have no idea who that is. But, surely, he hasn't got a damn thing on Chipp. Chipp will make a candy dish out of your skull. And then have sex with it. While eating candy out of the candy dish he is sexually violating. Chipp is own. Millia, too. But, not as much as Chipp.

I´m not sure if Dio means something else in the game, but I do know it´s God in itallian. About Spiral Nemesis, there´s a theory on the internet that it is a refference to the DNA. That´s just what I know (not of much help, am I?:blah:) I figured DIO would stand for something -- Devil Something Something -- just because it's written out in capitals, so I assumed it was an acronym. I guess it could have a double meaning -- God and some acronym I can't seem to find. And where'd they come up with the DNA Theory?

The Artworks in MT2 are made by TATSUO KOMATSU and FUMIHITO ISHII. And Illustrations in MT1 are made by MASAO HORIGUCHI and KOUJI TAKINO (he did Last Bible 2&3 as well). Were any artbooks released for the Majin Tensei games?

MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Megaten Hell / Majin Tensei 2 Questions

I've been playing Majin Tensei 2: Spiral Nemesis, and I have some questions.
1. Did Kaneko do the character designs? I can't really find any art of the characters, and they don't look too much like Kaneko designs. Ironically, Majin Tensei 1's designs look more Kaneko-ish -- as the Heroine kind of looks like Beth from SMT2.
2. What does FASS and DIO stand for?
3. Is there any meaning behind the name "Spiral Nemesis"? I know it was the name of some project in the game. I kind of assumed it might've been a reference to Ouroboros, but it's probably not. I also assume they chose it just because it sounds cool?
4. Am I the only one that thinks Naoki looks kind of like Bill Pullman in the in-game face portraits?
That's it, for now.

Game: Majin Tensei 2: Spiral Nemesis. Depending on how much I like the game, I might make a small site for this game. Kaoru Tachibana is awesome. Wish I could find some official art from it, though. Movie: Waiting for "The Second Coming" to arrive. Not a real movie, but a 2-part TV movie from the UK. Music: Various Majin Tensei 2 tracks; "...And the day breaks" from Devil Summoner [staff roll music] Weezer's Blue album No One Else (and Buddy Holly) > All.
