It's not a strategy guide, it's just a whole bunch of inspirations and cross references to various things in the games themselves.  It's like a scrap book for the whole process.  They're actually pretty interesting if completely unnecessary.

Well Plus does come with the ~NEW~ Raidou game so... ostensibly it's kind of a deal and a bonus to fans who didn't play Maniax because it was a limited release.  Oh yeah, Nocturne was rereleased as part of the Best of series in Japan so it's far more common *AND* cheaper.  Even in the US it was reprinted sans soundtrack CD I believe but the US version IS Maniax so it's the only game in town over here.

Play-asia, believe it or not, has a list price *CHEAPER* than the Japanese list price using straight Yen to USD conversion...

USD 1 = YEN 100.24 so 104.54$ = 10,479円

Granted, there's shipping but they don't charge as much an ebayer in Japan would.  I think one game would probably ship for less than 6$.

Is the Plus a limited pressing? I'm not buying anything at full price anyhow

Maniax/Maniacs was too so I'm guessing most likely yes.  I have some strong doubts that the Plus edition will ever be localized over here so I'd say it's tempting...  Maybe as a birthday present to myself or something but I  have a hard time legitimizing dropping that kind of cash on a game that I essentially already own.

Yeah, I just inverted the image because I thought a white one wouldn't show up in the url bar.  I could put it on a black background if you want...  It might look better as a square anyway.  I just don't think putting a shadow on it is an option though.  I mean I could try but I'm guessing it would look like a weird blob.  An outline might work...  I'll tool around with it this afternoon.

EDIT:  I'm pretty sure the nakama icons in Raidou are yellow but it would probably clash with the overall look of the site.

I'm not exactly sure what you meant by "bad ref."  I just assumed it was because the images are small and clipped on the edges.

I'll probably get to this sometime this afternoon if all goes well.

I'll see what I can do on the animation front.  In the meantime.  16x16 gif.



I'm not sure how I'd go about making it in .ico format though...

Yeah those pages are a little too small (and clipped) for me to read...   

It finished downloading sometime this morning.  I'll seed it for a couple of days if need be (looks like there's only 2 at the mo').
