I heard about the rapes and other such things, I think it's horrible to do at a time like this.  Especially since a lot of people are already feeling the terrible effects of Katrina.

All my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that are in those areas mentioned.  And Argilla and Naomi, I hope your family/friends are okay.

And yes the city is under the sea-level.

I know of Japan's prices. But, I still feel pretty good complaining about the prices here. Oh well.

I have a question -- do I have to pre-order DDS2 from any certain site to get the OST? I checked EBGames, but they don't make any mention of the OST, whilst GameStop does mention the OST, but only if you pre-order. Thing is, I hate GameStop -- so, I'm not sure if ordering from EBGames will get me the OST or not.

Did you ask them about it?  I think I remember EBGames saying that you will get a bonus CD if you preorder it (on their site maybe?) just ask at the counter or something.

I never went to EBGames so I wouldn't know.

Isn't that the price for most games nowadays?  At least it isn't nearly $60 as DDS was, then again it was in a "deluxe box set".

...You can't just buy it...after school ends for the day? I seriously doubt people will be pouring into the store trying to get their hands on DDS, of all games.

Actually, I don't think I can.  My ADHD will probably kick in that day and it will be hard to concentrate on anything the whole day.

Heh, I've been considering ditching classes just to pick up this game.  I just don't want to see this game slip through my fingers like Nocturne and Persona 2 did.  If it wasnt' for Atlus making limited copies, I might not think of this.  I'm REALLY anxious for this game.  I almost know how those Halo 2 fans felt when it was coming out and some of my classmates were actually skipping school JUST to buy it and play it the first day it came out.

I always wondered how IS played out, some people said it was the first half of the game...though by the script that someone had hosted, it didn't sound like that.  So I'm very confused about it; I probably don't have to worry, though.

Heh, I'm getting a bit anxious typing this up right now.  The release date is getting ever so close (13th for US shores, correct?), it's like waiting for Golden Sun 2 all over again, except you can't get it a week or two earlier by the way of emulation. XD

I'm going to have to pre-order it soon. I definitely want the soundtrack the most because it's something that the Japanese version never got. Well, there was no second volume to begin with anyway. What a shame really...the music is really good in the sequel. D:

You're telling me.  I was listening to the Battle Theme and the Last Battle Theme from DDS2.  I want to listen to them in a much better quality though D:.

EDIT: I can't wait to see all the battle actiony goodness DDS2 has to offer, the battle theme makes me wonder how much better it will be.

Well, it's not really hard for me to go with the Nintendo DS.  For one, most of the games on PSP aren't really my type of games.  Second, Nintendo has been making handhelds for a lot longer than Sony has, so I trust them more when choosing handhelds.  I'd also say, I perfer innovation over features, especially when it comes to the Nintendo DS.  It's fun how game developers are making games for the DS and using the stylus in different ways.

No, I'm not going to include the prices of the system in my decision.  I could have easily gone off and bought a PSP if I wanted to, but I didn't want to.  And I don't really hate Sony either.  Because like I said, I like them better for their consoles.

So all in all, I'm going to have to say the Nintendo DS is a better choice.  But then again, I'd buy both if I could.  Most likely for the same reason Heat has said, just for the hell of it.

In my opinion their stats are more or less the same, in the end it will all depend on who you like better... much as I liked Roald, I chose Heat because I wanted a complete Embryon party in the final battle. :P Plus... I liked Heat a lot more in the 2nd game. ^^

Ah, that's good to know.  I guess I'll take Heat the first time then, probably like the same reason as you.  A complete Embyron party for the Final Battle ^_^.
