I can't really tell by the downloads... what is the structure of this manga? Is it three volumes with more to come? Or is it a complete manga released one section at a time?

edited: I noticed the cover says "volume 5". Is Dengeki Black even the name of the Persona 4 manga? Or is that just the name of the magazine featuring the manga???????????? I'm going to need a lot of explaining I'm afraid before I can get started confused

Since the books section will be getting more complicated, I'd like someone to setup a page like this (http://www.digitaldevildb.com/games/) only for books at the print page (http://www.digitaldevildb.com/print/)

I'm dividing the print (Books & Manga) page up into sections such as Artbooks, Manga, Guides, Novels, and so on. So the first page in this section should list all the books we know of (unpublished fan stuff excluded) divided up under these headings. And the ones we have pages for should be links of course.

We need something setup so our books won't be too hard to find on the website... especially because so many of our digest pages are still blank.

Had to move this stuff to:

http://www.digitaldevildb.com/print/artbooks/pandaemonium/book-1of3/

Sorry. I'm not going to setup redirects considering this page was not part of the original website.

What would be a suitable English title? The literal parsing "Electric Black Demon King" sounds pretty flat. Probably if I knew more about it, I would have a better idea of what to use sweatdrop

Come on people... this won't cut it frown

The click rates could be better, but the per click payouts have been low lately. Could just be a side effect of the economy, or bad luck. But anyway... obviously these numbers are hardly even worth reporting. 10$ per month is pretty much our average. 10$ a day should be our goal if this site ever gets turned around rolleyes

Is there a system for displaying comics in html in multiple languages used on the internet? Basically so you could just load the image with the text erased (in the bubbles) and load the text in on top of it (either graphical or fonts)

Something like that would save a lot of storage space and even bandwidth in some cases. Another way to do it, might be to save the files as animated gifs with one language on each frame. The Gif file would compress the identical pixels in each frame greatly. Probably php and or javascript could display the frames individually.

Also, I don't think it's made clear enough that the big quote in the article is from the back of the English retail release cassette box. Granted it wasn't very clear in Tony's writeup, but your version makes it even less clear by omitting "official". Try to make it plain in the introduction to the quote it is from the back of the box ok smokin

FYI, I just had the idea to setup a special page for translators to show the HTML code for any of our normal pages, so they can copy that into their translation. I guess I might as well make one to show the source code for the archive pages while I'm at it... for those importing old pages into the new database.

I will set that up very soon (as soon as I can)

Urgh. My head hurts.  doh

Dunno if I made it better or butchered completely. I left out one paragraph as it consisted mainly of bashing the storyline, anyways its in the pending review section. Sorry if it's of no use, feel free to get one of the other two to do it again. I think I'll leave out the next edit for someone else as I'd like to see if I could learn anything off of them.

At first glance it seems like you did more of a re-write here than an edit job. Which is not a problem in this case... but might be if a new writer had produced the original. Anyway, we can probably just give you writing credit for this and cite Tony's article in the archives as the main source.

Would just need to rewrite stuff like, "Several months ago I stumbled upon an eBay auction for Megami Tensei animation cels from this film. For a low price, I was sent a handful of original, painted cels and some pencil drawings. They have been scanned in and included below." So that it's clear that it's not worded on behalf of the author. You could either put Tony's words in a blockquote (or I can as the admin if you prefer) or, you could just write it in the 3rd person citing Tony for the cels.... or you could just thank Tony for the original writeup and cells and provide a link to his more critical review in the archives, all in the same final paragraph. Whatever is up to you.

I don't have to keep telling you how much we appreciate the help/support of course. I'll try to get everyone setup karma wise asap. If you start doing a lot consider setting up a thread for yourself in the Sea of Souls board ok rainbow

Aha... I was thinking Megaten Haven for some reason rolleyes

I guess that would make our site the first Megaten site to make this manga available. I will set it up for reading online first... but once/when I get the Media Library section working, an archive could be made available for download. But I would leave that up to a 3rd party to upload (kinda how the Media Library will work)

I'd like to get all of these sorts of manga up. It would be even better if we could somehow make them available in different languages... and of course in the original format.

Oh really? Where are they on the other sites? I know MH I think, but didn't know they had a good section for this (unless it's in the forums)

The other acronym I can't guess rolleyes

Well translating is a ton of work, and there are soooooooo many pages... so it would be just wrong to expect Emilio to do everything?! Besides Emilio does a lot of other stuff already too. No pressure of course, but the site is setup for as man translators as possible to cooperate one thing at a time rainbow

PS: Eventually the flags will do something... but I haven't done that something yet sweatdrop

Alsoooo, I know it's really easy to miss the Espanol link at the top. But if there were more languages, especially with non-romantic alphabets the language selection would be easier to see. We're just hoping we can find more translators to help out with other languages.

Somehow these people are playing it on a PSP?? I don't see it in the PSOne Classics list on Wikipedia, so they must be hacking it somehow??
