I'm taking the title off your blog (Atlus Revela el Empaque de Devil Summoner 2) since I you didn't give us one smokin

edited: Or how about, Atlus USA Revela el Empaque de Convocador del Diablo 2 (is that ok?)

Sorry to drag this old dog out... but I'd like to know the present sentiment about the whole database half of the "digital devil database"??

I thought I worked out a very efficient system for turning this place into an actual database... the test database went well I thought, but the interest in actual devil databases seemed to drop to nil during the entire process.

I'd just like to know if there is anything I could do to make it easier to add databases to the website. Google Spreadsheet is way more sophisticated than anything I could devise, and I basically take care of everything else.

If you want, we can try to switch over to using the wiki I setup...

http://www.digitaldevildb.com/hell/index.php?title=Welcome_to_Hell

Or at least do a test database from it. Then I can Ajax the wiki pages to import the databases. I don't think that would be more efficient, but it might go over better with volunteers for whatever reasons a psychoanalyst could turn up rainbow

I was going to use that wiki for images, before I got the idea to develop the whole Media Library section into something bigger (which I still have on the drawing board)

I dunno, just seems a shame we don't have more happening in the database dept.

PS: Also Persona PSP is coming out, so it should behoove us to at least finish the P1 database in time sweatdrop

I just realized I'd really like to have a copy of this game on disk. Is it too late to make a disc image of this game?

I will send you, gillian, an email as well...

Still with us cj iwakura? I saw your account in the Atlus USA forums (who knew they had an IMAGINE board) and remembered... anyway, we need all the help we can get.

We need you to register as "cj iwakura" from the front page (http://www.digitaldevildb.com/) first however. Then I can make you an editor (we also desperately need contributors -- more so than editors, but that is another story, and another level of commitment for that matter)

I noticed you'd left the u off the end of Raidou (which is how Atlus USA is spelling) it... now I'm just wondering if Raiho, should not be Raihou?? (it is a play on words after all tongue)

PS: The headline seemed odd to me as well, because when I think DS2, I think Soul Hackers, but it took me a little while to remember Atlus USA is probably calling Abaddon DS2 (or are they??)

Btw, make sure you keep all of this stuff you (same for everyone) do in your Sea of Souls thread, because keeping up with Karma is really tough for me to work into my schedule, so it's easier to just go by your SoS thread most of the time. Btw, for Moderators, try to remember to reward all the Karma you're authorized to do, to take the work off the backs of the admin (sorry you're the only active Moderator btw Emilio crying)

A Megami Ibunroku Persona PSP advert in IMAGINE biggrin

...so I guess the game is just now coming out in Japan. I've been thinking of picking up a 3000 model PSP, but the odds are only so so.

I will get the Spanish up soon, but in the future, if you can post English and another language at the same time, all you gotta do is put the English inside [lang_en][/lang_en] tags, and the other language, like Spanish (es) in [lang_es][/lang_es] tags (for example / for Spanish)
278  Be Your True Mind / Find Your Voice / Re: NEWS: Atlus Reveals Devil Summoner 2 Deluxe Box on: April 22, 2009, 04:18:12 PM
Will get on this soon (tomorrow-ish)

I guess btw the quip in quotes under the graphic is a staple now tongue

At first I thought they were real quotes, but now I think maybe you're just being cheeky rainbow

PS: If anyone has a prob with my translatoin posting turn around, if you want to volunteer for the job, I'll consider giving you privileges if I think you're up to it...

Edit: Ah....never mind, there it is. Stupid Chinese comp  mad

Probably Chinese proxies... I have to use a proxy (for better browsing performance) cause I use a satellite, and I get missing images and incorrectly cached pages now and then (generally when the weather is not so great / heavy traffic hours) ...with FF ctrl+shift+r will recache the page for you. If you just want to do one image though, you can choose to view it, and then recache it, and go back (can save a lot of unnecessary recaching when things are really bad)

285  Be Your True Mind / Find Your Voice / Re: NEWS: www.atlus.com/devilsurvivor/ Atlus USA Devil Survivor Site Comes Alive on: April 22, 2009, 07:43:59 AM
I don't think devil is weird at all... demon seems much weirder. I think the problem in the states is just that now days fundamentalist hear "devil", and think "the devil" (or really their devil / aka Satan) ...which only makes sense used in the singular anyway. Demon sounds scary, devil just sounds like... "oh you devil" ...besides the real value is in the pop hook, which you just can't get out of "demon". Truth is in a good translation, devil and demon would be used. The diff though is Devil is a catch word like Pokemon... where as demon is a generic term. Eg. a horde of demons, versus that devil (as in a specific devil with peculiar/desirable stats and such)

All the accessible entities in the traditional games are devils. And that goes back to Digital Devil Story (same as the name of this website) ...so basically Atlus USA is stupid, retro-actively or not... or at least ball-less in it's inability to exercise any artistic integrity in the face of ridiculously trivial controversy. Ganesha is a devil too... less face it, if you're dealing with giant elephant faced creatures or radiant attractive beings, you'd be wise to regard them all as a bit weird and untrustworthy, ie. devils. I rest my case goodnight
