I'd be happy to take you up on the offer. Obviously the place is slow enough that it's not going to kill your free time.

I actually am starting a new job in two weeks with way more freedom (work at home,  set my own hours... and yes, it's a real job), so I'm hoping my involvement will increase very soon. There's some small things I'd like to try to do to try and boost up post amounts here. I'm the first to admit that my approach to this forum has been, well, lazy. Originally, Argilla (the girl responsible for Yosuga, a DDS site) wanted me to put this up, but I've not even seen her on here in quite some time.

I'll PM you about it later on if you're still interested.

Cool. I hope you didn't take my post as a knock.

No, not at all. There were four threads of it... I wish there was some better way to keep these bots from registering. Oddly, they can get by the image verification and the e-mail confirmation now.

I cleaned it up earlier.

I don't get to spend as much time on here as I'd like. Or even should. Not that it's terribly busy here. I suppose the two go hand in hand, however.

I've not had time for this or the main forum lately, unfortunately. I've had two different computer related jobs, so combining that with my general life kind of puts websites to the wayside.

I'm hoping that given what's going on currently that I'll be able to give my full attention to the site in the next week or so. There's a lot I want to do with the main site in particular.

Of course, if anyone here feels there's anything they'd like to help with, I sure won't refuse it lol smug

I have a back up of it still. I'll probably just toss it up in a subfolder of the site somewhere... I've still not heard back from anyone involved with the site and the link you put up doesn't work either.

The site's been down for quite some time... and no one involved has answered my e-mails about mirroring it, unfortunately.

You can read it entirely at archive.org, though. I'd suggest heading there. I have a copy of it somewhere, if necessary.
351  Be Your True Mind / Digital Millennium / Re: Final Fantasy XII on: November 01, 2006, 02:19:20 PM
It came out October 31st. Some retail outlets won't sell it till November 1st... that happens with most games at certain stores, unfortunately.

I picked it up on Tuesday rather easily. Circuit City has it for $37.99 online, last I checked. Good deal.

My first thought is that I wish they'd use the infinitely more interesting Japanese logos for these games. A plain old FINAL FANTASY XII on the box just doesn't seem as cool.

Beyond that, I didn't have time to even get past the opening cinema stuff, so  cannot say much. I'm greatly looking forward to it though. This is the first new FF I've looked forward to in a very long time.
352  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: Ready for Pre-order on: October 30, 2006, 01:16:17 PM
Personally, I'd just wait. It's not like you couldn't pre-order anywhere else without getting it on time. Most of the time I don't even bother to pre-order at places until the last week before it comes out. I've never had an issue.

I'm so jealous! :( I haven't gotten my copy since they haven't arrived at the stores over here yet.

Anyone check out the guidebook? I'm pretty glad they made one for this game, too. :)

Last I heard, you were completely disinterested in this one. What canged your mind? smug

I have the guide, by the way. It's pretty cool from what I've seen, but I've not actually used it while playing at all. The game's main points are not terribly difficult to figure out through messing around.
354  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: SMT: Imagine on: October 27, 2006, 10:26:50 AM
I actually downloaded that video a while back in its original form. I swear I posted it on the site, but apparently I didn't at all. I'll have to get around to that.

Nintendo is probably the least likely company to interfere with stuff like that at this point. Nintendo makes some of its own decisions for its products, but as far as third parties go they can do whatever the heck they please. For example, Killer 7 has some moans in the "famous" sex scene for the GameCube that were entirely removed for the PS2 version. I've read other things from developers that go along with that as well. I don't even think this is an issue anymore.

Beyond that, the main question whether or not Atlus even wants to bother. Atlus of Japan hasn't shown any real interest in porting the games to the PSP, which is probably even more true now that the DS is trouncing the thing in Japan. Atlus USA doesn't develop, so there's nothing to rely on there.

My only thought was that perhaps a translation could appear on Nintendo's Wii Virtual Console service. I don't know if Atlus USA will bother (I asked on the forums and didn't really get an answer to that specific question), but it's really the only legitimate hope as of right now.
356  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Summoners' Club / Re: Multiple Endings. on: October 17, 2006, 05:23:58 PM
As far as I am aware, Nocturne is the only PS2 title that has multiple endings. DDS didn't have them and I've seen nothing about Devil Summoner having them either... most likely because the story is far more structured/linear/cinematic.
357  Be Your True Mind / The Turnstile / Re: Official Introduction Thread on: October 11, 2006, 05:30:57 PM
I personally stopped going to MH because of those reasons. I didn't go for very long, however. I do appreciate its history, though. It's ran by some nice people and it definitely gets good traffic and news, but the attitude of a handful of people there turned me off completely.

I suppose the same is true of the official Atlus boards at times... but that's mostly because there seems to be a clique that kind of has its own inside jokes and so forth. For someone like me who rarely visits it's very hard to just jump into it.

But really, I suppose this isn't the place to get into all of that. All I know is that I don't have much tolerance for people being jerks and Argilla has even less than that lol. The only non-spammer banning work has been through her, but I don't think it was a regrettable decision.
358  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Summoners' Club / Re: DS: Kuzunoha Raidou is US bound. on: October 11, 2006, 05:28:02 PM
I discovered today that Amazon apparently decided not to ship my copy of Devil Summoner. The status never changed, so I cancelled it. Luckily, I wandered over to a Gamestop 1.5 miles away and they had just received a package containing that and some other titles.

3 people reserved the game and they got 12 in total. So I walked away with the game and am really looking forward to popping it in tonight.
359  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Summoners' Club / Re: DS: Kuzunoha Raidou is US bound. on: October 10, 2006, 02:13:52 PM
Reviews of the game are popping up now. Seems most stores did get it in already and Amazon and so forth look to be shipping today. I should get it at work tomorrow, so that'll be a good night lolo.

I don't have time to get into all the reviews again (annoying BBCode differences), but there's links and info on the main page of this site (http://www.digitaldevildb.com). I also scanned in and uploaded the current print ad.

Thanks for joining, every one. I too wish this place would pick up speed, but I'm not sure what to possibly do for it. If any one has suggestions I'd be more than happy to listen to them.
