Anyway, I can agree on Hitoshi Sakimoto's work sounding the same for the most part. A few of his soundtracks actually do sound different from his FF work though, but what does sound similar I still think is very well done. I like him, so whatever.

I agree. I think there a lot of his work can sound similar, but when it is that good, why deviate? He is probably my favorite VG composer. The soundtracks to FFT, VS, and FF XII sounding alike kind of fits for me. They all take place in the same universe after all. I really dig Radiant Silvergun's track, and as you mentioned before Sayck, Gradius V and BoF DQ had excellent tracks. I think his music fits the atmosphere and themes of the games they are present in more so than many composers. His work always does a great job of representing the gravity of the situation during boss battles.

So what you are saying, is that there is no Persona for the PSP? :P

Wait, its a trap! Odin Sphere is for the PS2.

Doh! I actually own OS. That was a typo. Yes, PS2 is correct. But yeah, I would buy Etrian Odyssey first.

You need to spend some time in my boot camp.

No. Etrian Odyssey - DS
     Odin Sphere - PSP

What the hell Cammy? Get with it.

Still plugging away at Etrian Odyssey. I am quite addicted.

Doh, I thought she said what is Etrian Odyssey. Yeah, what Stacks said. I really dig it. I have to say that I am quite impressed with the size of the levels.

And Odin Sphere a few days after that, assuming they don't delay it.

True dat. Although, I'm not so sure I wouldn't mind a small delay -- like a week or two.

Hopefully Etrian Odyssey tomorrow.

I never even gave any of the crap they packed in with Lunar 1 & 2 a second look once I opened the box.

Neither did I. I remember thinking the cloth map in 1 was lame and had a putrid smell. I did like the manuals, but their binding could make them difficult to read.

^I know a few of us here probably think along the same lines. I really do like a few WD titles, but for the most part think they were really overrated.

I was waiting for you to say that Sayck.

I found the storyline and all that the most interesting -- more interesting than playing the games, at least. Plus, zombies.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, your interest in the series died at 4? I kind of agree. I dig zombies, and the lack thereof, made me lose interest in 4.
