Has anyone ever registered with a gmail account?
It appears to not be possible.
editted: Ahh, there is more to the error in white. Free addresses are no longer allowed. A friend notified that they indeed did register with gmail, but apparently this is no longer possible.

That is a good idea, because I have a lot of questions about some act and sometimes I want to ask something about the skills or spells, and all that kind of things. But I guess if we want to make an Imagine forum here, I think we better hear, what Tony has to say, (I think, I really don´t know if we need his permission or something like that). Its up to the admins to add a forum of course. I'd be happy to answer simple questions in this thread for the meantime. I hope Imagine isn't relegated to obscurity because it is a Japanese only game, and likely will be until a sequel or some sort of reboot arises. I miss the good ol' days myself, when all of Megaten was japanese only. That was a tight-knit community. Imagine brings the spirit of those games back somewhat for me. Plus it could make this website more popular, if there is no other place to go for an english Imagine forum that isn't a Gamefaqs styled bump-fest.

I've sort of taken an out through the past years. I've never been able to get into the new age SMT games. But lately I've picked up Imagine, and I think its the generic customizability of it which is its saving grace. I figure I only get one shot at doing the MMORPG thing, and this is my game, and I'm finding myself just short of addicted to it!
So I'm curious if any Imagine specific forums exist outside of the Gamefaqs forums. Gamefaqs are insufficient as forums, because the posts are automatically pruned. So if no other forums exist, and a better venue does not exist. Then why not create a specific forum for Imagine here?
It might also be useful to create subforums for guilds and clans -- if there is a distinction.
Imagine will surely become a significant pillar of Megatendom I hope. It needs its own forum distinct of this one.

AFAIK, isn't that depending on the maturity of the dev. tools used and the scope of the project?
I'm curious to know why some game reach the budget of high-profile Holloywood movies. I can understand why high-profile games like Final Fantasy (esp. X) and Unreal Tournament have large budgets considering that their development tools were made in-house (in UT's case, actually even licensed to other developers).
What dev. tools and language/s did Atlus use for Persona 3? I'm sure Atlus used the standard tools. Very costly modeling suite licenses for artists and image processing suites for illustrators. A PS2 assembler and maybe a c++ compiler for stock code, pretty bare bones stuff. Console development is a fairly archaic process. Of course the reason games cost more than blockbuster movies is asset development. It takes hundreds of artists working round the clock for a few years to produce a contemporary big budget game. The programming can actually be managed by a small team generally, and is rarely very creative. Its abouot 99% asset generation as far as actual work is concerned. This system isn't scalable though and will break in short order, so I happen to be involved developing software which will let small indie teams do the same thing, but they have to work as part of a global community freely sharing their collective assets if they want to be competitive or beat the system so to speak. I also work on sophisticated systems which manage scalable detail procedurally, which should take a lot of burden off the back of detail artists. Of course none of this will cure the creativity deficit in the industry. Hopefully once indie outlets prove competitive there will follow a renaissance of artistic integrity. Thats all I have to say. The tools don't exist, because the industry is extremely knuckle headed.

Weird thread(?)
You can emulate it with homebrew software or buy P1 on Sony's PS1 to PSP ported virtual market thingy.
Just for the record, I happen to possess the required experience to sit under any position on Atlus' payroll. Producing a video game is a major undertaking requiring many human lifetimes according contemporary convention.
You could always try summoning a game!

Anyone care to share why I can't gain a single Dodge skillpoint? Does my speed have to be super high to land a dogde or what? I'm already favoring speed extremely. Btw, does a hit ever wiff in this game. You know, caused by speed/accuracy deficits, traditionally called a miss?

So you have to fuse the demon, then trap it in the memory at the Jakyou via a special fuse time option then? Is that the pixie quest outside 3rd home? To fuse a Jackfrost and store it in the memory she gives you then bring it back I presume?
So is there really no way for players to trade demons so far? That is uncool. I assumed the memory system was a way to keep players from trading level demons while abstracting the demons as items.
I'm having an impossible time recruting a Leader Pixie btw. Any hints anyone? Does intelligence effect recruiting? Does the rank level effect recruiting? Or does upping your rank just earn new skills?
I didn't have much trouble recruiting or tapping pixies? That is making them give you stuff!

Thanks! I needed that. Can anyone confirm and or elaborate on aquiring skillpoints from other characters. Be they nakamas or partners? Or even opponents?
editted: Can I ask what are "devil memories", and how are they used exactly. I believe I know the items. I am asking btw!

How can I advance my support magic skill level?
I was peeved that it looked like I'd have to cast the 10min teleportation spell to do it. But I did cast it and it didn't raise my skill level. Its the only starting spell to work with. You get another at rank1.
Does it give points under some circumstances? Like if I go further from the home point, or can I use it with other party members?
editted: Also, can someone briefly explain how the devil memory items work? Is it a mechanism for trading demons? And how can I move them into my computer?

I didn't bring up the topic of piracy in the context of either thread. Piracy is a relavent, because if you are in the UK, and FES isn't released, or takes too long, then piracy is the only alternative outside of importing, and there really isn't any ethical ambiguity or superiority between either of those options if both are available to you. I prefer to import Japanese titles, but most people shouldn't be forced to play a game etc in a language etc they don't want to. Same goes for FES in the states. That's just bad business, and you can't make an ethical argument that it must be patronized.
offtopic: I apologize btw for earlier complaining about the cryptic title of FES. I see now that those zany Japanese have "FES" printed right on the box!
