Is there any basis for these distinctions?

    * 1.1 Fool / Folk Spirit
    * 1.2 Magician / Genma
    * 1.3 Priestess / Megami
    * 1.4 Empress / Mother Earth
    * 1.5 Emperor / Deity
    * 1.6 Hierophant / Kishin
    * 1.7 Lovers / Fairy
    * 1.8 Chariot / Fury
    * 1.9 Strength / Snake
    * 1.10 Hermit / Holy Beast
    * 1.11 Fortune / Beast
    * 1.12 Justice / Wargod
    * 1.13 Hanged Man / Fallen
    * 1.14 Death
    * 1.15 Temperance / Avatar
    * 1.16 Devil / Tyrant
    * 1.17 Tower / Vile
    * 1.18 Star / Yoma
    * 1.19 Moon / Night
    * 1.20 Sun / Avian
    * 1.21 Judgement / Seraph
    * 1.22 World / Dragon

The second titles (Folk Spirit, Genma, Megami...) did not appear in any version of the game/manuals/guides in any capacity right?
1922  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: Revelations Persona Graphics on: January 03, 2008, 10:03:57 PM
Did anyone ever find the name comparison guide? Could someone post the url? And what are the odds someone could throw up a page with the Japanese and whatever localized names you got with the graphics?

editted: Wow, hands down the most impressive imagery ever produced for game sake! I really appreciate the chance to see it all in one place without the hassle of actually playing the game :)

I could be wrong, but I think some of the cards/Personae were missing in the original sprite archive you posted. Also some of the animation pages look really fragmented. Is it certain they are stored in memory this way? Or is it possible the ripping software might be corrupting the data? Some of it looks like economics, but others look completely garbled. In any case as long as the graphics are all there, I look forward to someone splicing them together for all of us!

Really makes you wonder wtf happened to P2 :(

Congratulations!

The klan is lv2 now! Klan mates now receive a 5% experience and expert skill rank growth bonus.

I don't think anyone really "needs" any such things, but there was an english/japanese name comparison faq in the old Megaten Haven wiki if it is still there.
1925  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: DDDBジャンプ klan registration thread on: January 02, 2008, 02:29:32 AM
I just updated the recruitment advertisement in the klan terminal, so happy hunting!

*When I have a moment I will either recreate this thread, or just quote the tutorials offered inside the opening post. My apologies for its sprawling nature!
1926  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / DDDBジャンプ klan PowerUP! on: January 02, 2008, 02:18:03 AM
Ok!

Since the klan was created, activity seems to have come to a standstill! We regular players never see the new recruits playing. Perhaps this is because of holidays and finals, but we feel like its time to try to change this trend!

Despite this, since the last major update a new klan leveling system was added! The klan members receive special bonuses based upon the level of the klan. We began a square or two past halfway through lv1. Since the update we've received a square now and then at a regular pace and are one more square from lv2. Based on this trend we should level up any day now. Though I've no idea why our level is increasing, because we never see people playing!

Also along with the update, new activity icons have been added to the klan window. So it is no longer requested that you occasionally key the date into your klan status field.

At lv3 we get to create a klan emblem. I don't think custom emblems are a possiblity, but I will consult with the klan members once this oppertunity arises. My present plan is to use the emblem that looks like a 3, and use completely transparent colours except for the 3 itself. A semi-opaque orange or green seem appropriate colours, though feel free to suggest otherwise.

Now! It should be observed that a 4chan/v klan named Vidya was created at roughly the same time as the DDDBジャンプ klan. Its safe to say from associating with the klan originator the Vidya klan is kicking your butts! Is a 4chan klan really gonna out Megaten a Megaten board? Its up to you!

Incidentally in light of the addition of the klan level system. I have spoken with the Vidya klan Master about the possibility of temporarily merging our klans. This seems unlikely/unnecessary, but if anyone on any side wants to persue the option, feel free to discuss the merits.

And just to wet your whistles! Cave is promising sometime this month a patch will make it possible to ride your nakama horse-back style! Now anyone of you who can resist that temptation does not deserve a spot in Megaten heaven! There is a catch though. Earning your steed will very likely not be a quick and easy process! So you better start cracking now if you want your character to be in shape to do so when the time comes!

The 4chan klan level ups its new recruits. But we feel like this robs new players of valuable experience. However if you want to, we will help you level up your character. Especially if you've been through the ropes before with another character and want to create a new one. For everyone else, we will start taking online players through the Hack dungeons. Each time if you are lucky you will receive a special nakama as your prize -- and if not you will be rewarded a decent normal nakama. We can take upto 5 players at a time, the more the merrier.

Now lets Imagine playing!
1927  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: Revelations Persona Graphics on: January 02, 2008, 01:05:07 AM
Awesome, I so love this game. The artwork is light years more sophisticated than any other game in the Megaten pantheon.

Does anyone know who is actually responsible for the card artwork/compositions? My gut tells me it couldn't have been Kazuma! If so a lot of love must've been poured into this one.

A handful of the Perusonae(!) I did not recognize. Anywhere I can find the graphics next to their ingame names yet?

The persona artwork is so great. Is there anyone up to extracting the battle animations for them? Some gif animations would  be wonderful!

Any other games btw? Whatever you're doing, keep it up!

Wow I:ve never heard of this memory system in the game.

What game are you playing then? Just kidding! But in fairness, the topic post clearly stipulates the purpose of the thread is collecting these odd memories keke

If I played this game, I would totally want the Kyouji Kuzunoha hair.
http://oekakigamers.com/upload/img/2138.jpg

It was limited time only afaik. It was common in the bazaar not long ago, but it has been a while since I've seen one, so the going price is probably pretty steep by now. I would buy one myself, but I wouldn't want to wear it forever, and the idea of getting sick of it or having to choose to ditch it really doesn't appeal to me.

editted: Actually, I just did the accounting, and realized I know two players that will help me with the two memories I was more immediately concerned for. I can still use the Shinjuku memory asap however. I just imagined the thread might be of convenience to other players persuing the zensho rewards (which btw, the reward for 100 memories is now an 8th nakama slot)
1930  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: Share your hair! on: January 01, 2008, 07:47:22 PM
Well, the starting hair is all that is required to attain the various memories. Whatever hair you chose will have a corresponding city/memory (though many of the hair types correspond to the same city/memory)
1931  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: Vista and Imagine. on: January 01, 2008, 07:45:19 PM
You might not have the font the game wants if everything from installer to launcher is really working for you without odd characters. The installer was not unicode when I downloaded it, but that was a while back, so that could have changed.

In any case, there is another thread for this in the forum called "Getting Japanese characters to work in VISTA."

I can't remember exactly what I did, but it should be possible assuming you have all the paraphernalia Vista suggests. If you don't have Ultimate addition, all your software will have to run in the Japanese locale.

Did anyone catch the Imagine newyears event?

Time will tell.
1934  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Checkout the new Community section of the website! on: December 29, 2007, 09:01:38 PM
I noticed the other day the Community section of the official website has received a major overhaul. It is now presented in an in-universe fashion! It looks cool too, but is very unforgiving on hires displays, as it limits itself under all  circustances to 800x600 resolution, and the fonts don't scale properly. Also on CRT displays the lighter colour of the duotone presentation is very drab and difficult to read for too long.

Fortunately I thought to access it from my old turn of the century sub-notebook portable (which is the poster child for a devil summoning portable computer if there ever was one!)

In fullscreen mode, it is as if I'm using some obscure 80s operating system, which is really fun!

In anycase, if you don't mind a little more Japanese navigation, I highly recommend it for private klan/player communication (for DDDB klan members I can see everyone's levels btw -- keep it up)

Hopefully sooner or later, the database will be accessible from within the client, for those of us playing via a single display :)

In the meantime, go checkout the "Community Self-Defense Special Force -- Devil Buster Control Organization" (C.S.S.F.) at:

https://secure.cave-online.jp

PS: I wonder why there is no mention of Imagine/Megaten in the URL, but it should take you to the right place I think. If not, just login to your account from the main site, which should also take you there I believe.
