Things have been pretty quiet in the Megaten world as of late. Even in terms of general related Atlus news there's not been too much to say.

Gamasutra has an interesting article up about http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=15779">Game Developer's Top 20 Publishers. The list is generally dominated by the top players every one would name, such as EA, Nintendo and Activision. Of particular interest, however, is Atlus USA's appearance in spot 18.

Pretty nice.

Another bit of http://www.gamealmighty.com/game-preview-individual/preview/Shin_Megami_Tensei_Persona_3/">hands on impressions concerning Persona 3 has hit the Internet. This time around it's from the comics-themed GameAlmighty web site. While it doesn't offer any real new information for those who have kept up on the title, it does help raise the hype level.

Persona 3 is officially dated for July 24th 2007. Only 23 days away.

RPGamer was fortunate enough to be able to interview some Atlus team members about their upcoming titles. One of the titles in question, of course, was Persona 3.  Here's an excerpt.

Though Atlus has no plans to release Fes in North America, is it even a possibility for the future?

I'm sorry, we have no plans for it at this time.

Now that I'm back from the dead, it's time for more news.

IGN stuck up some hands-on impressions of Persona 3 last week. While they don't exactly offer any new information, it might be worth reading if you're absolutely starved for details. You can check it out http://ps2.ign.com/articles/794/794100p1.html">here.

I've tried contacting Atlus for interview information about the title, seeing as though it appears to have been sent in some capacity to major mainstream media. Unfortunately, I've yet to hear back. Atlus seems to change PR people about as often as the weather changes. We shall see what happens.

Atlus updated its press site today with a whole bunch of English Persona 3 images. These are actually the first translated screens to surface. They have made their rounds on a bunch of web sites already, but assuming you've not seen them you can check them out on our http://www.digitaldevildb.com/games/persona3/screens.php" title="Persona 3 Screenshots">Persona 3 screenshot page.

Something I noticed is that Aegis appears to be called "Aigis" in these screens. I wonder if that was deliberate or just a typo?
