Well if using something called "Tiny XP", chances are all sorts of issues could arise!

There is no Microsoft product called TinyXP, so all non-essential features (Asian services/IME) are likely hacked out.

Why not call the thread Imagine and TinyXP, and let us know when you figure it out?

First off, why is quoting broken for this forum? The M-Quote does nothing, literally nothing.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that Shin Megami Tensei 4 will be on the PlayStation 3.

Atlus would do this just to prove it can / get some experience with the tech. But it will either mean taking a major loss or waiting a long time to release a SMT4.

It is true the PS2 is incredibly weak hardware in many aspects. But an operation like Atlus can't begin to mine out a machine like the PS3. They can only find novel ways to abuse its muscle for ecclectic effects. In any case, it seems many developers like Atlus will be dragged kicking and screaming into this round of console tech, or the whole generation will bust.

Sony should be marketing the PS3 as a budget PC and gamebox in one, and Microsoft will probably release an all new Xbox before the PS3 even starts to pickup steam.

Safe isn't the word, not crazy! is more like it. Any publisher Atlus' size has no business producing a PS3 game unless it is completely subsidized / insured (produced) by Sony.

But yeah, Atlus and Megaten in general are an odd couple in my book. Cave has out done Atlus at every turn in handling Imagine (once you adjust for the margin of retard-ness which plagues all contemporary JRPGs)

The PS2 really seems like a console that should never go out of production. I remember Famicoms being produced well near the end of the Super Famicom life cycle, and many games, most only released in Japan, were added to its catalog as well. The PS2 seems an even more extreme case, as people are completely uninterested in the PS3, and lets face it, the PS2 is like a car for games. Most people just need to get where they are going. The PS3 is a super car for enthusiasts -- at least until the programming monkeys can get their banannas in a row.

Ah! I thought it was possible to fill out an online status report for your klan profile, but I had forgotten how it was done it seems. The13thChyld alerted the matter to me. Oddly, all you must do is click under you name in the klan window, and type your status in there!

For some reason the same does not take in the friend window :\

In any case, format wise, I recommend we put our level, then dddb forum name, then at the end of the field, occasionally put the date, in month.year format. So we can see how active you are!

If you logiin to Imagine, you can see how I've filled this out for my character.
1942  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Share your hair! on: December 18, 2007, 07:24:36 AM
Can everyone post their hair styles?

Depending on what hair you have, you can collect different Memory items:

http://imagine.gkwiki.com/236.html#m070913a

My hair is メンズテール.

You can find your hair style and copy its name from this page:

http://imagine.gkwiki.com/240.html

I would apreciate, if you would all help me collect these memories! Fortunately my hair corresponded to Arcadia, which is the most  dangerous area to approach. I will help anyone with that memory when you like.

The Arcadia and Souhouzan memories are out of the way, but the others can be picked up in 3rd Home and Shinjuku Babel whenever in town.

I could use most of these memories asap, but of course, this thread is for everyone participating in the Zensho game.

Yes, you should report him to the authorities asap!

Error, quips don't count if you're not playing.

Wait, what?

Sorry, the Quote button stripped out the relevant quotes. I guess I should be  using "M-Quote" instead.

Just so you know, there is another thread which covers this:

Glad to have you!

Everyone, I suggested before, to enter your forum name into your Online Status field, but I've since learned that you can only see players online status in your friendlist, and not the klanlist. So I suggest whenever you are online with another klan member, to add each other to your friendlists. There is a button to do this in your klan window (it is the very wide one)

You will recieve notice when your friends login, and you can also easily message friends via the message button in your friends window.

So unless anyone objects, I move that it be klan policy, if any klan mate sends you a friend petition to accept it without question (you can delete them after a period if you feel you must or feel the player is inactive)

Also I suggest we all put our players levels in our online status info!
1948  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: Your Personal Persona on: December 16, 2007, 01:54:13 AM
Yeah, but since the names must ultimately be kanacized in any case, they might as well take other liberties along the way. A lot of it is probably set by past precedents as well, from previous other sources -- pop/literary or psuedo-historical, already part of the broader Japanese zeitgiest.

For the record, I think I generally prefer the Japanese names to western source B or C. For instance, with CuSith and Shisai, I think those are literal names, one Celtic the other Chinese. These are both essentially dogs, I keep both in Imagine. The game names are Kaashii and Shiisaa. Which both happen to sound like actual dog names. I can't say whether this is somewhat intentional on the game's part with an authority. But granted the Japanese tendancy to cute-ify everything, it's probably safe to assume so.
1949  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: Your Personal Persona on: December 16, 2007, 12:28:54 AM
I'm curious which games of course. I don't recall him. Not by design at least.

I think Megaten generally likes to mix the names around so they are easy to say and sound more like proper names. Plus there is always the Japanese tendancy to use as few syllables as lexically possibe to distinguish borrowed words.

Of course if I ever record his memory in Imagine, it includes a fairly long summary of each demons mythological origins. He does not have a corresponding memory item yet however.

I think I might vaguely recall a similar graphic amongst the DS1&2 graphics.
