1  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: SMT: Imagine on: September 12, 2007, 01:07:12 PM
I have downloaded this game, registered, and everything. However, it seems that whenever I try logging in, the user name doesn't work. Is there any way to use the website to find your own username? I know the password is correct...it's the password I use for everything!
2  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Your Personal Persona on: September 12, 2007, 01:05:15 PM
As I was thinking of the idea for this topic, it sounded to me like the "favorite persona" topic, but I figure this is different enough to be a topic all its own.

Judging from your own peronality, if you were a character in any of the Persona games, and you could only have one persona at a time, what persona do you think would represent you?

Since I haven't gotten all that far in Persona 3, I don't really know all of the Personas, buuut....I would think I would have....hmmm...Naga? Maybe Chimera, or Grull(sp?)?

I'll get back to you on that when I have more Personae. ;>_>

Honestly, the only Megaten games I've ever played are Revelations: The Demon Slayer, and Persona 3. I'm a bit of a n00b to the franchise, since it's so hard to find any of the games for a good price. I may be able to get Devil Summoner and the second Digital Devil Saga, but, unless I pirate, the other ones are far out of my reach.

I discovered anime about a year ago and got pretty into it - Elfen Lied, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Cowboy Be-Bop, Outlaw Star and Tokyo Majin were all pretty cool. I liked Bleach for a while, but got sick of that Inoe (or whatever her name was....flimsy female character) and the fillers. I always hated Naruto (that must have a goddamned ARMY of cosplayers) and One Piece (animation was too slow). My boyfriend currently watches Gurren Lagann (he's obsessed with mecha >.<) and my other friends watch things like Ergo Proxy.

I kinda got bored with anime though. It's so expensive to buy (then again, who buys anime?) and I have a much bigger passion for RPGs.
Well, I find RPGs and anime kinda work pretty close together. Well, that is, if you're playing a JRPG. Ergo Proxy is pretty cool, even though I've only seen 1 episode.

Youtube can do wonders if you want to watch any anime.

I want FES, to have all the P3 games completed, since is my favorite serie of Megaten.
Have you played any of the other Persona games?

I would prefer a PS3 SMT to be honest. I would love to see a next-gen SMT with the graphics etc - some of the demon designs would look amazing. Oh my god, a Lv99 Lucifer in next-gen graphics xd

I can't see SMT being on the Wii. How would Atlus market it? How would they imply the controller? SMT is a bit dark to be on the Wii. Sure, there's Far Cry, but SMT is a little bit more disturbing in the head than just baseless guts 'n' gore.

I have to say - the Wii is the last console I'd like to see it on. I don't have any particular hatred for Nintendo or anything, it's just the Wii....I mean, it's so clean and sparkley and cute. It's just so not Megaten.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my fave game. Hmm....prolly a toss-up between Lucifer's Call and Persona Innocent Sin. I think I'll go for LC - it's just so huge and epic. The "sandbox" RPG.
Yes, PS3 makes sense for Megaten, but I personally see a strong possibility in a DS Megaten, since the DS is:

A: Not always "kid friendly".
B: VERY Japan friendly, since the DS is the only platform in the history of Japan to COMPLETELY sell out.
C: Money!

I never really made fan-projects on RPG Maker. I tried to make original projects, make my own, working character sprites, etc. I did that fairly well, however, at the time I used RPG Maker, which was around 3 or 4 years ago, I did not know how to work the event programming language very well.

Well who knows, maybe is a good idea, but I dont like it at all. I preffer PS3!!!

I'm guessing you own a PS3, Emilio? That's good for you, but you do realize that making the only new SMT game an exclusive for the PS3 would be a horrible financial decision, considering the PS3 is the worst selling console worldwide.

The Nintendo DS, being the largest selling video game platform in sales, would be the most logical choice.

How about releasing SMT 1 and 2 over in the US for the DS? Does that sound good? ^_^

No idea. I never really got all that far in it. =/

I totally agree about the Megaten games in that respect! I just wish that:

A: Atlus produced more of the Megaten games, so more people could play them.
B: Release more Megaten games instead of keeping them Japan exclusive.

I can see a SMT appearing on a Nintendo console, more likely a DS than the Wii, but if Nintendo actually wants GAMERS to buy stuff for the Wii, a SMT is a good idea. Honestly, I don't think Atlus would be stupid enough to release a SMT just for the PS3. Sure, they don't usually sell that many copies of a game, but that would be just sad.

There's so much content that even with another Aegis branch, which we don't really need because she plays an extremely pivotal role in the story and we get multiple facets of her personality and major development, it wouldn't really matter. I for one am satisfied with the fact that I played the game for 110 hours on my first play through, got 91% done on the compendium and only maxed out a few S-links. That alone justifies at least 2 more playthroughs to max out other S-links to see how everything else plays out. After that, another S-link and a couple of quirps here and there won't mean much.

Is it that people cannot be satisifed until they know they have everything in the game? Or is it just wanting for the sake of wanting something when you already have enough? I know that P3 is enough for me already, and am in no rush to get FES.
I personally would like to play FES for the storyline, but, to each their own, I guess.
12  Be Your True Mind / Digital Millennium / Re: Making your own Rpg? on: September 10, 2007, 08:29:20 PM
Hmmm....I've had alot of experience with the console RPG Makers. The PS1 RPG Maker was very enjoyable, and RPG Maker 2 looks like it could be very good. However, RPG Maker 3 was a steaming pile of....umm....need a euphemism....well, it was bad.

I thought RPG Maker 2000 for the PC was easier to understand than XP. Then again, I don't think XP had the same amount of material to start out with, like 2000 had.
13  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Megaten Hell / Re: Revelations: The Demon Slayer on: September 10, 2007, 08:25:43 PM
Yup, I do believe it was a Megaten spin off. I think it was called...Megaten Gaiden: Lost Bible or something like that...
14  Be Your True Mind / Digital Millennium / Re: So any anime watcher ? on: September 10, 2007, 01:19:09 PM
I'm a big anime watcher, not really limited to Adult Swim, since I have Netflix. From Netflix, I've watched: Chobits, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Chrno Crusade, Azumanga Daioh, Escaflowne, Outlaw Star, Gundam Wing, Evangalion, Martian Successor Nadesco, Saiyuki(sucked), Nerima Daikon Brothers, .hack//Roots, .hack//Legend of Twilight, Neo Ranga(sucked), Aquarian Age, Pani Poni Dash, Get Backers, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Yu Yu Hakusho, and a few others I've forgotten.
15  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Velvet Room / Re: What Do YOU do with your After School & Evening time? on: September 10, 2007, 01:14:52 PM
Hmmm... I'd say, since I'm really only about 20 hours into the game, I usually hang out with whoever asks me first after school. Then again, I seem to ask out Chihiro whenever she's avaliable, and I ask out Yuko every Wednesday. I go to Kendo Club on Thursday and Student Council on Friday. I either drink coffee or sing kareoke in the evenings I don't go to Tartarus, and I try to study before sleeping when I'm not tired.
