I miss only 2 endings and for my obsession of completing everything I mistakenly finished the Amara Deep Zone before entering the Tower of Kagutsuchi and if I can't see the Musubi Ending is useless to continue playing that file since the Maniacs ending is in another file.

>> There's a "point of no return" in the Amala dungeon. If you've seen the
(spoiler)
scene where the Hero is turned into a full demon and ends up back at the Hospital(end spoiler)
then you're locked into the Maniacs ending. You can almost-finish the Amala dungeon without actually getting the ending.

For all that have played Persona series, you know that each character has a different Persona at the begining, each one with different tarot, and if you see for example, Tatsuya, has the Persona Apollo, and Apollo is from "The Sun" tarot, now my cuestion is, each zodiac sign has a different tarot affinity, and if someone knows those affinities, can you say them to me?

Thanks!

>> Game-character-related affinities, or real astrological affinities?

The latter is sometimes horribly inconsistent.

I'm not THAT rich.

NightPhaser - Here's a link to one of them. Just change the number at the end. *only found eight*^^; You'll have to excuse the translations as well since they're pretty old. *needs to scan and re-translate* :O

>> Wahey, thanks. Those made my day. ^_^

I've been trying my hand at scanlating too.

>> Oh Tsunehitooooooo...

I just got Pandemonium Vol 2 and 3 in the mail. Vol 3 has a good amount of Personas, to my surprise.

Being a picture monkey (oohoohAHclingclang) and all, here're two to make up for the TINY versions I posted:

Hyperion

Hermes

>> I got mine off jpqueen late last year (along with WOMG Pandaemonium 1) at good condition and fair price. Gonna get Pandaemonium 2 on YesAsia when I have the dough.

From what I've seen in PWG, I think most of the non-character Personas do have illustrations for them. Too bad it'll be a couple of years before they get to the Persona period for the KK art volumes; look how long it took between SMT1 and SMT2 artbooks! (I think KK's style took the present polymer-shading awesomeness around Devil Summoner / Soul Hackers, so I'll be excited by the time that volume turns up.)

>> Anyway, here're some scans from PWG. Sorry if it's a bit blurred, my scanner is not a high enough level to evolve yet.

Asteria(sp?)

Gabriel

*Tiny Hyperion

*Tiny Hermes

*I know, they're bad. They're small because they're printed in margins for the character sprites. Same thing with Personas like Vesta, Kali, etc. It's annoying, but at least they're pictures.

But all of then sudden, I have gotten back in the kick when I found Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner at Gamestop one day.The next week I went crazy and got Digital Devil Saga, Digital Devil Saga 2 & Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne off of ebay. And I'll be playing all three of those once I finish DS.

>> HO YEAH MOAR PPL W00T

Also: you'll be making up for all those MegaTen-less years, heh?

By the way, if anyone knows what even happened to beyourtruemind.net I'd appreciate being filled in, even if it just simply moved.

>> Seconded. I was going WHAT NUUU when I got hit with a 404 going to BYTM. It's like being Cocytus'd through the heart.

Anyway, I'll try and see if I could get good scans of the list from the Persona World Guidance book (though some of them are so tiiiiiiny).

Nor for the SMT-series. ^^

>> Your comment opens up a good point there.

With MegaTen games (SMT, Persona, etc.) at what age would players generally  be to be able to:

(a) Enjoy the gameplay. (Battle difficulty, old-school interface-gameplay, etc.)

(b) Appreciate the more mature themes and ideas posed.

*is less pensive about firing up Monster Rancher Advance again, heheh* hearton

12  Be Your True Mind / The Turnstile / Re: Official Introduction Thread on: December 31, 2006, 10:13:10 AM
>> Hey, guys.

I'm just an avid DDDB site user (it's awesome, very nice place to point people towards, who don't know about MegaTen) from sunny Malaysia, and thought this was a good place to be involved in after a while. Not too busy, not too sparse, not too YOUFAILATMEGATENFOOL.

First game I picked up was actually DDS. Later, a friend kicked my ass and my pants a few times when I told him I didn't pick up Nocturne when it was in a store sometime earlier. I eventually got a copy of it, and along the way I acquired Kazuma Kaneko addiction (any support groups for this?). I'll admit I'm mostly in it for the character and demon designs, and I'm a mythology hobbyist so I tend to play "Guess The Demon" or something like that. I dig the WTF moments brought out by MegaTen/K-K.

These days, my MegaTen-related interests go between keeping track of the translation projects (P2:IS and Soul Hackers must be ENGLISH'd!), finding elusive art books (preciousPandemoniumVol1precious) and bonus discs, and the occasional mildly related fan art.

...and I type a lot. Been told before. ^_^;;

>> So, uh... let's positive thinking?
13  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Tokyo 202X / Re: Favorite Demons on: December 31, 2006, 09:56:05 AM
>> Heheheheheh.

Raiju and Jack Frost
I always fuse one, if I can. Just something about Raiju being RARR and not being able to sit still. Jack Frost doesn't need justification (heeho fangs).

Oce and Mithra
Just... sexy kitties. Really. ...Whaaat?

SMT1's Ally Lucifer (or Persona 3?)
More for what he represents than the actual design.

>> I have others, but I can't think them up right now. UGH
