Despite never being made public until now, Gemini and Tom have announced that they have been working on a patch for Soul Hackers for over 8 months now. They haven't said how much of the patch has been completed, but they assure us that the game has less text compared to their last patch, Innocent Sin.

The patch will be released for the PS1 version of Soul Hackers, and they will probably give us an update soon enough referring to the advancement of this project.

Okay, I'll be honest.

Still don't think I get it completely but I've had a whack at it so you can tell me what you think.
Added over 150 skills to the list, many of which are already on there but it seemed easier to me to just start from scratch rather than sift through the list looking for ones that weren't on there 

Depending on what you think I can always change it later

Basically put the English name, Japanese name (whether it be hiragana or katakana, it was whichever I could find) and the romaji equivalent. Also in the notes section I put down what game they were in. If it's general that means that all games have them (I think) and if it was specific to a series I put the name of the game.

It's not all done of course but I figured it was a start. 

I do have one question though, it seems that in some of the earlier games the same skills were spelt differently e.g Agirao as opposed to Agilao. In those instances do you want me to enter both and specify which game they starred in or shall I just leave it as is.

Also, I left the Localizations row blank as I'm not sure what to put in, skill type maybe?

Anyways...have a look and if I've done anything wrong I'll be happy to change it 

EDIT: Wait....think I get it now, translate the Japanese names into the literal meaning and stick em in Localizations, right?

EDIT 2: Oh, and the skills I added start beneath the previously entered ones, the ones without localizations. Ya can't miss them

Was considering doing a news post for the new Persona 4 figure that he mentions but will probably leave it for now as I don't really wanna flood the news section as people may not have time to read what's posted 

Had a look at it and translating it shouldn't be too much of a hassle (I hope). But before I get started I just wanna be clear....am I fill in the blank Localizations? or is it something else....

Is Devil Summoner 2 everything a good sequel should be? Apparently so....

The recently released “Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon" seems to be worth the money if the internet is anything to go by. Released on May 12th, the sequel to the popular first installment has gathered a rather high number of positive reviews. None of which seem to fall below the 80% mark. A high achievement indeed.

Yeah send me an email, managed to locate an Eternal Punishment magic list with the Japanese translations so should be able to at least contribute something to it

I'd be willing to help out since the Persona series was the whole damn reason I got involved in Megaten in the first place (that, and anything that'll give me a better reason as to why my translations are so slow  )

Personally I'd love to see a demon database (as would most fans probably, even though they are somewhat silent) What exactly do you need? If I can help in any way I will

The changes all look okay, I especially think the url at the top looks good.

As for the pitchforked E's I noticed that as well. With today's overly PC climate I doubt we'll see the devils in referred to as devils in-game. In a way the game already treads some thin ice with a few religious groups thanks to the imagery and naming of some of the devils (Lucifer and the image for Ganesh standing out in my mind). I seem to recall an argument somewhere about using the word Devil to refer to Ganesha, when the god is primarily a peaceful one in Hindu religion.

Atlus will probably stick with the norm and use Devil in the title and demon in-game. But that's just life I suppose. Using the word demon is apparently a lot more acceptable than using the word Devil. Which I find weird all in itself

Atlus USA have launched their official website for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. The site includes a whole host of goodies to get excited about, including in-game video, screenshots and information on characters and storyline. Currently only three characters and one scant piece of information on the story is available, but just seeing these videos should be enough to get any Megaten fan hot under the collar.

The website promises updates such as free wallpapers, avatars and, of course, more information on the story and eleven main characters that will inhabit the game world, so be sure to check back regularly.

Now go look!!!
