Fixed! Works perfectly now--thanks Jesicat! (The Barong avatar kicks ass, by the way. :D ) I should have known I needed an update from the "DIRECT X FEBRUARY 2006" message in the SMTO:I program file list... >.> but I was hurriedly trying to get it to work before my lunch break ended. XD

You have to click on the green "Download Game Client" button on the Imagine site. Try going to StartGuide from the blue menu bar up top and it should be the second option on the pull down menu. I downloaded the client (after deciding to venture out into the Forest of Frightening Kanji.) but when I try to play I get this error message:

This application failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I've uninstalled and then reinstalled the program (or should I just reinstall with uninstalling first? o.o; ) several times but I get the same error. Any help would be appreciated.

And just how might one elicit this generous mood of yours?

As with Nocturne, I spotted a lone copy of P2 on the bottom shelf behind the glass (All the way in the corner. Sneaky, sneaky Batsu.) and when I went back when I had money the next week GameStop had "shipped them off" to an undisclosed location. I have a copy of the game... it's just in a clear plastic case. -.- I need the case damnit! I do, however, own a copy of Rhapsody I'm willing to part with if anyone's interested...

I'm not really familiar with things like this, so forgive me if this is kind of a "Duh" question, but is this the Japanese beta we're talking about? A girl over at the BYTM forums said she had gotten in. That was quite a while ago, though so... kinda confused. >.<

They released (>.< Sorry, I misspoke. EDIT:) Shin Megami Tensei on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan, so maybe through some fantastic series of events we'll get it over here.

Currently I'm participating in the Great Wii Hunt. -.- Every day for the last three weeks I've called all of the game distributors in town to no avail. Wal-mart finally pulled through, but they sold the last one literally the minute before I got to the electronics department. >.> If anyone knows of a Wii that just happened to "fall off a truck" then by all means, let me know.
 
I am looking forward to Jewel Summoner, Samurai Warriors 2: Empires, and Etrian Odyssey. Too bad I still have quite a bit more waiting to do. (Also wanting Bladestorm:THYW, but unless PS3 prices mystically plummet even further, I'm going to be waiting even longer. >.>)
 
EDIT: If Nocturne has taught me anything, it's that "Pester" is a vastly underrated skill... As of this afternoon I became the proud parent of a Wii. :D Thanks to some fancy driving, an impeccably timed phone call, and of course being "the luckiest of all zodiac signs" (so sayeth my lunch place mat) I was able to snag one of the three Wiis that made it to my town this week. -excited-
