I think that Slayer would be better suited as 'The Hermit' for some reason...

No way. Not a chance.
A guy who is the head of a big organization, and who knows everybody who is somebody in the GG world wouldn´t fit as the Hermit at all. And besides, he´s married.hearton
I think he fits The Devil card very well because of the reasons stated above and the fact that´s he´s an immortal, but still care about the matterial world and stuff.

If you're no good with him, then yeah.

By the way, since you´re such a Chipp fan, why don´t you give me your opinnion of what card he could be. I really don´t have a clue about him.:buh:

I have no idea who that is. But, surely, he hasn't got a damn thing on Chipp. Chipp will make a candy dish out of your skull. And then have sex with it. While eating candy out of the candy dish he is sexually violating. Chipp is own. Millia, too. But, not as much as Chipp.

Sure Chipp could do that, if only he didn´t get K.Oed in the first 10s of the round... He´s as frail as a fly! I like the character, don´t get me wrong, but Jam is as fast as him and can take more hits, so...
Anyway, Kliff is the old guy in Guilty Gear(the first game), you know, the one with an oversized knife.
This is the only pic. I´ve found of him:

Also, there´s some info here:

You're missing the best character in the entire GG series: Chipp Zanuff.

I also forgot Kliff Undersn:nolaff:
64  Be Your True Mind / Digital Millennium / The Guilty Gear Tarot card theory on: October 19, 2005, 05:49:39 AM
I don´t know if somebody has done this before, but since I´ve never found anything on the subject...
It is obvious that the GG character´s represent each a tarot card, so I´ve decided to do a list.
The Persona fan´s might find this interesting.

The ones I´m sure of:
Sol Badguy - Sun
Justice - Justice
Ky Kiske - Judgment
Testament - Death
Zato-1/Eddie - Whell of fortune
Dizzy - Temperance
Potemkin - Chariot
Faust - Fool
Zappa - Hanged Man
Axl Low - Tower
Slayer - Devil
Character´s missing:
Jam, Jonhy, Baiken, Anji, I-no, Millia Rage,Venom, Chipp, Kliff, Bridget and Robo-Ky.

If anyone is interested, just post your theories:updown:.

...2. What does FASS and DIO stand for?

3. Is there any meaning behind the name "Spiral Nemesis"? I know it was the name of some project in the game. I kind of assumed it might've been a reference to Ouroboros, but it's probably not. I also assume they chose it just because it sounds cool?...

I´m  not sure if Dio means something else in the game, but I do know it´s God in itallian.
About Spiral Nemesis, there´s a theory on the internet that it is a refference to the DNA.
That´s just what I know (not of much help, am I?:blah:)

There´s going to be one?:buh:
That´s nice to hear. I just hope it gets to the US or Europe.

Have you heard the original Lunar for Sega CD's voices? I think those were worse..er? Worser? Than Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete's.

I've said this numerous times to people, but I think the game with the best English voice acting would be Dark Cloud 2. A lot of big-name actors did voices -- not just people who did only voice acting, but people who did actual acting. Like Luke Skywalker, whose name escapes me, but I'm content with just referring to him as Luke Skywalker.

Mark Hamil? I think he did the voice of the joker in Batman Animated.

That makes three. When people get schooled they're more reluctant. The two things I've grew to learn while playing this game and doing research are this:1.Humans have the greatest variation and adaptabiltywhen it is applied of any species known. 2. If people paid attention they would realize that this game much like Martial Arts itself are based on principles and theory. Try letting them play the computer to build up interest and confidence then re-challenge them once they got some knowledge under their belts. They might even teach a few things from a new angle.

It really is a game where you have to train to improve yourself, not just memorize some combos, and that´s what drives players away, you have to make an effort if you want to get better. Like my brother says, "This isn´t a fighting game, it´s a fighting simulator!"

:rambo: I need a worthy oponnent...

Never got around to playing the ZOE games are they fun? They look it.

They are really cool, if you like action games, give it a try. The soundtrack is incredible, and if you are a Gradius fan you should take a look at ZOE2.

I hate Illusion of Gaia. So far, Soul Blazer is still my favorite, heh. You ever notice how the Title Screen music in Illusion of Gaia sounds like a complete rip off of a Final Fantasy V song?

Never noticed. I try to forget Illusion of Gaia as much as I can:updown: .
You´ll probably change your favorite after you play Terranigma some more.

Or maybe not...

I played a lot with Pai, who is kind of a beginners character anyway, but to truly get better, I feel you have to play with other human players.  None of my friends care too much for VF.  I think the difficulty puts them off.  How about those player hand movement videos in Evo?  Some of that stuff is nuts.

I have the same problem: lack of competition. Most of my friends play Tekken instead because is easier, and the ones that do play VF aren´t very good, so I´m kinda stuck with fighting the computer...
About those videos... Yes, they are crazy! I can´t do some of that stuff even with both hands.

How about you Soulless Beast, any favorite characters?

I too am a fan -- too bad I suck though....;)

I sucked too, not too long ago. You just have to choose a character you like and train with him:rambo:.
My choice is Kage Maru : fast and unpredictible. He´s the ninja... ninja

Game: Terranigma. Goddamn tightrope walking. Only on the 4th Tower. I think I prefer Soul Blazer... Ark is awesome, though -- he walks like he's M.C. Hammer.

This game rules... But it´s too long!:buh:
It took me forever to finish it. Still, it was worth it...
If you like the Soulblazer series, do yourself a favor: don´t play Illusion of Gaia.
