Source Links

Digital Devil Database relies on information provided by all sorts of sites. In most cases, these sites are cited in the sections where they are directly used. This would include people who write in to us, forum topics and news sites. However, there are also several sites that require a special mention here. Most of these sites, in particular, have been used on a very regular basis when writing about historical, religious or mythological concepts on this website and might not be sourced elsewhere on a consistent basis. Therefore, this page wound up being necessary to help give credit where it is due.

Wikipedia: (wikipedia.org): An amazing collection of information that anyone can add to. A vast majority of terms and extra information on this site concerning the religious, occult and other such things originally came from Wikipedia. Highly recommended even for just general use.

Acadine Archive (acadine.org): A very useful site with a good amount of information on occult references. Used for a handful of the more general definitions on this site, particularly when dealing with demons.

Youkai Japanese Monsters Index (k2.dion.ne.jp/~youkai): A small site with a nice listing of Japan-specific monsters. Some of its information was used within specific sections of this site, such as the Demonary.

Encyclopedia Mythica (pantheon.org): A site full of general information on religious and mythical figures that was essential in compiling much of the information on this site.

Aeclectic Tarot (aeclectic.net): Website used for all information regarding Tarot cards and their meanings. Most specifically utilized in the Persona sections.

GameFAQs (gamefaqs.com): If it wasn't for this site, I'd have no idea who to even e-mail in order to put FAQs up on Digital Devil Database. The site itself was used for specific release dates and Japanese titles when needed. Of course, I also must mention the FAQs themselves which have been used to varying degrees by myself over the years. Anything used on this site specifically from a FAQ and not my own notes on the games has been credited on the specific page that uses it.

Victar's Tekken and Mortal Kombat Fanfic Archive (members.aol.com/sglkht): Personal website with videogame related fan fiction and a few Persona related FAQs by Victar.
