I installed this very popular plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/

It should make the WordPress pages react much quicker, especially under high load conditions. Hopefully it won't eat up too much storage space... might have to keep an eye on that.

Let us know if you see anything weird of course.
