Similarly to my Devil Summoner topic, I'm curious to know whether or not there are full translated scripts out there for those who aren't emulating or don't know Japanese. I want these games for the psx if possible, unless someone suggests other wise (like the gba versions...wait, is it for gba?). If they are readily available how much do they cost to import?

I've only seen them on eBay myself and they're rather uncommon. There is a fan translation for both SMT and SMT2 on the SNES, but it's not been applied to the various other versions (SMT is on Turbo CD, Sega CD, SNES, GBA and PSX lol). I think you're out of luck there.

You also must be careful with SMT 2 PSX. There was an initial version that had a fatal bug.

I played the SNES version of SMT1 and it was awesome even tho it was bug hell, menus are also very sluggish and the interface is terrible. despite all that the game OWNS. if you decide to play SMT1 SNES pray that one of those gamebreaking bugs doesnt get in your way.

With the translated versions, it's one of a handful of games that works very differently depending on the emulator. ZSNES seems to hate it and doesn't display half of the menus correctly. There are other emulators out there that seem to run it fine, however.

I've played SMT1,2, and if on snes via emulator. I haven't beaten them but I've gotten to the end of 1 and 2.

From simply a collecting standpoint, I'd say I typically see each of these games on eBay around once a month or so. More often at more expensive prices, obviously, but less often at fair ones. I'd not pay more than $5 to $15 for any of these, honestly.

You mostly have to be careful because EMS insured shipping isn't exactly cheap. If all 3 games are from separate buyers, you'll probably be paying a heck of a lot more for shipping than the items.
