Are there any other games you guys are anticipating this year? So far, it lots like a lot of good games with be released this year unlike 2004.^^;

My list:
- Code Age Commanders
- Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2
- Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou
- Xenosaga III (if there's any news about it this year)
- Grandia III (released this month but haven't picked it up yet)
- Shadow Heart: From the New World (see Grandia III)

*sees butterflies fly out her wallet* :butterfly Ah, this calls for a job!

Well, I can't even begin to understand Japanese at this point, so that kind of limits things for me heh.

Digital Devil Saga 2 is obvious. I'm still waiting on a real release date and maybe some pre-order gifts before I pay for it.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is coming out in the US this November, finally. Dragon Warrior on the NES was my first RPG and I've always loved the series (although I think VII was pretty crappy). Square-Enix is changing a lot of the things for the localization (voices, modernized menus, modernized sound effects, etc) that I actually think may help its chances here.

Trauma Center: Under the Knife looks really interesting. It kind of reminds me of this weird Frog dissecting game we had in grade school... only fun.

The Nintendo DS is launching its online service this year with Mario Kart, which looks like it might be one of the best games in the series yet (if not the best). Animal Crossing DS is set to follow and I assume it's coming out this year too, but I really have no idea.

That's all I can think of offhand lol.

Well, I'm looking forward to fixing my PS2, then I can worry about the games.

I pre-ordered Soul Calibur III because it well... owns me.

After that, there's Makai Kingdom and Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2.

Next on the list (I'm going by priorities here) are Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and and Kingdom Hearts 2.

After that, I'll try getting a DS, I've dissed it before, but it's looking good now.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Unfortunately, that one has been delayed until at least after Nintendo's fiscal year that ends in March 2006.

I also should mention Everybody Loves Katamari. I don't know how I forgot that one.

I'm wondering, is that game just about rolling up random things you find on Earth or is there more to the gameplay and story than that? So far, I heard love-hate things about the first one. D:

For me it's:

We Love Katamari
DDS2 (of course)
Rockman X Collection
Taito Legends Collection

On a side note - Argilla you should definitely try Katamari , it is a great game even if it is a bit simplistic.

I disagree. Playing the game felt like trying to navigate a tank through a thick swamp. :\

Obviously, I'm on the "hate" side.

Wild Arms Alter Code F
Is that the Wild Arms 1 remake, or the new Wild Arms game? I want to play the remake -- especially since I never could progress any further in Wild Arms 1 due to it freezing when I would try to load a save game.

Yea, it's quirkly style is what attracted me to the game but I wasn't sure if it was worth a play. A lot of people seem to love it and say it's quite addicting but then there are those who say it's nothing but you rolling up random objects. I think I'll be the judge of that though...

Yeah! That's one I wanted to add. The game looks awesome, and supposedly plays awesome, as well.

I'm most waiting for DDS2. After I beat that (which may take a while since college starts up soon) I'll probably be picking up or renting Radiata Stories (assuming it gets at least decent reviews). I haven't decided whether to play Dragon Quest 8 yet, as I didn't like what I've heard or played of the series.

As others have pointed out, I do look forward to some info on XS3, though my anticipation for this title is nearly nothing because of what they did to Takahashi and XS2.

I also want any sort of info on the publisher for Shadow Hearts: From the New World. It's been said that it was picked up by someone, but no one knows who yet.
