I play Back to Nature on my PSP once in a while and I'm currently playing Innocent Life: A futuristic Harvest Moon. Innocent Life is alright so far, but the lack of social interactions and marriage (b/c the main character is an android) really sucks, the game had a lot of potential.

That game looked ridiculous to begin with. I was more interested in Rune Factory.

Wasn't FOMT basically HM64, but with game-boy style graphics and some story switched around?

No. It was an enhanced Back to Nature.

I always liked the Harvest Moon series for the game boys. Even over the console versions.

Harvest Moon hasn't been good since Harvest Moon 64. Everything after that has been absolutely terrible. Harvest Moon (SNES) and Harvest Moon 64 are the only ones I still play.

Also, the controls in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town are terrible. I would constantly accidentally drop an item or eat it, or use a tool when I didn't want to. Very annoying. Didn't like Friends of Mineral Town too much, as it felt too much liked a souped-up Back to Nature, and Back to Nature was terribly boring. Though, it wasn't nearly as bad as garbage like Save the Homeland, A Wonderful Life, and Magical Melody. Magical Melody is probably the worst in the series, though.

I don't have either.

I've forsaken handheld gaming since the GBA SP when I realized I could be playing better games on my PS2.

The GameBoy Advance was terrible. I can't name a singe game that I would consider even "above average". I hate the idea of paying for handheld consoles and games, too bad Nintendo DS emulators are mediocre, and apparently, there are no PSP emulators. Someday.

That's a good point too. Even if you could just replace one of them with something stronger that isn't weak to force, or better, resists it in some way. I'm not sure what's in that area, or what you can fuse around that level though. Can't remember...

Can't one fuse to get a Nozuchi or Nekomata at that point?

I thought Danger really fit well in DDS1. Pray's engrish was kind of awkward, unfortunately. I've only heard Burn My Dread from P3 so far but I definitely hope they don't take that out if it's being used in the game.

I hated Danger. I'm not saying I liked Pray, either, as the melody was annoying and the vocalist sounded like she had an orange in her mouth. Likewise is the case with Burn My Dread. I don't quite understand why the Japanese will write English lyrics and then use a vocalist who can't actually speak English. At least in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, they had a vocalist that could speak English (I believe she also wrote the lyrics, if I recall correctly) -- though, I didn't like Change Your Way all that much, either. I much preferred Kimi no Tonari, which is ironic considering I hate J-Pop/J-Rock. Had a nice melody, though.

Quite frankly, I think something like "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics would've been more fitting, but it's probably not "hip" enough. Not long enough, either, I don't think. Still.

Aside: Happy birthday Heat! So how's it feel? I'll be hitting that birthday in not long either. heh heh

Thanks. It doesn't feel any different than usual.

Since it´s not your job, and I think you dont know something about making music, you should stop saying bad things about the music, since you dont care and dont know about it.

Actually, I do "know something about making music". Regardless, I have every right to talk negatively about the music, because this is a public forum and there's no rule against it.

Confirmed. Although I like Etro Anime.

"Danger" is what a New Order song would sound like if New Order sucked a lot.

Atlus didn't change the music for Digital Devil saga

What are you talking about? They replaced, I believe it was, "Pray" in the opening with that terrible electrotrash song.

And if you dont like it, why dont you make some music that you think is better than the music of P3! And give us a piece of it.

Because it's not my job, and I don't care enough about Persona 3 to bother.
161  Be Your True Mind / Digital Millennium / Re: DS or PSP on: April 15, 2007, 10:51:16 PM
I eventually wound up buying both.

do you know something about if there will be some changes in the music?

Why would there be changes?

Though, if any game needs a new OST, it's Persona 3, because the music is terrible. Atlus needs to get themselves a competent in-house composer.

I still find it funny that this game is rated 12+ and up in Japan, when teens are pointing guns to their head to summon Persona. I can't wait until it's out.

The game isn't advocating suicide, there isn't any gore, so there's no reason for it to have a more strict rating. So, no, the rating really isn't funny at all.

It would be more like:

"Hey man, your story for Persona suxxorz, I ain't gonna help you with it."
*leaves*

BOOM! Cult classic.

Not exactly right, but more accurate.

Not really.

and stop complaining about it.

I fail to see how you came to the conclusion that he was "complaining". Too bad this is a public forum and he has every right to complain should he wish to do so, as there's (as far as I know) no rule against it.
