Wow that review sounds stupid.

(It’s entirely typical of a JRPG. I match attack types against vulnerability types to do extra damage)

So the complaint is that the battle system revolves around finding an enemies weakness and exploiting it??!!

Im pretty sure any game boils down to that. If you play a first person shooter and an enemy has a sniper rifle you fight at close range, if you play resident evil you shoot a zombie before its close enough to chew on you.

Great game played it through with a friend the multi player battle system is a great addition.
