Hey, I happen to like the DDS games. I'm at the tail end of DDS2 any way, I really want to know what happens.

it's just that most of the games on it are pretty low-qual besides some puzzle games and RPG's that are being released on it.

I wouldn't go right to saying that. Daxter, Syphon Filter, MGS: PO, Tekken, Rachet and Clank, Killzone, GTA (I find these games boring, but they aren't low quality), Socom, Megaman. The list goes on, just go find a list of all the PSP titles out right now.

Although it isn't as big as the DS, the PSP still has a good amount of good quality games. Although I wouldn't have fun with most of them, I can be sure that they aren't low quality(I rented a few and they were pretty cool). So easily dismissing the PSP like that, saying it only has puzzle and RPGs, isn't correct. If I didn't have console games that I was more interested in, my PSP collection would easily be much larger.

I got it, but I'm playing DDS2 as of now. But Persona 3, it keeps on staring at me>_>. I gotta play it:P

Yeah, haha, a similar thing happened to me when I was calling Gamestops to find copies of DDS 1 and 2. One of the people that answered the phone had a reaction that was funny.:P

"Hey, do you guys have Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga?"
"Woah, woah, woah, hold on there buddy. What did you say?"

Another one:
"Hey, do you guys have Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga?"
"Hold on" *Takes 10 minutes*
"Yeah, we have Shin... Devil Summoner"
"No, Digital Devil Saga"
"Oh, we don't have that"

Meh, I'm getting second thoughts about even fighting Satan in DDS2 now. I don't really feel like having to level up that much and max everything out just to beat one guy, who I can't even beat without some luck even at max level. I'll just fight up to Seth in DDS2 and end the game=/

In Nocturne, I have some incentive to fight the hidden, hard boss. It gives you a different ending, which I will try to work to in hard mode.

Is he really that hard to beat? He was the only boss I left without killing and went on to DDS2. I wanted to try Satan in DDS2, and I was gonna try demi-fiend after I had beaten DDS2.

Doesn't really matter to me, I didn't even have intentions to mess with my PSP until this thread popped up.:P I use my PSP for games I buy for it, so whatever.

I definently heard about this, but never really wanted to try it. The idea of playing all my favorite PS1 RPGs on the PSP excited me, but it seemed too complicated.

So, I need the correct version of Lumines to downgrade? My version is 3.52=/

Nah it's fine. Just remember, it's a forum, I doubt everyone here has played the game. And with all the talk about it, I'm sure someone that hasn't wanted to check it out.

Not that I know of, with my limited knowledge of the series. Wikipedia doesn't connect it, and Wiki knows all:P.

I have a question about the rings that have the description auto [Enter any kaja/kunda spell] on them. Do these effects last throughout the battle? And right at the beggining of a battle, say if you have a Rage Ring (Tarukaja and Rakunda), will the wearer have 1 Tarukaja on him and every enemy have 1 Rakunda on them?

170 hours O_o. I got to level 80(assuming 99 is cap) and almost full mantra (about 4 not finished on each character) and did the sidequests except for the demi-fiend (I played it back to back so I was too tired with it and was excited to go on to DDS2 to see the story out:P) and I still only fully clocked in 70 hours on my new cycle. Even so, I would only get about 90-100 hours if I did level to 99 to beat the demi fiend.

Yes, I'm going to reserve V. This series looks really interesting.

I think I'll call around gamestops to see if there's a used Growlanser Generations, which I doubt they'll have though.

Maybe, but from what I've played from L-5 (DC1,2, DQ8 and Rogue Galaxy). I only enjoyed one, and thought the other three were subpar (DC1,2 and DQ8). I might rent it, if it's not up for rent, I'll probably not try it.
