I'm replaying Suikoden right now. It may not be the best Suikoden, but the soundtrack is a pure masterpiece.

If you're looking for a good game to buy, of course besides megaten games, a RPG game called Namco x Capcom, if you know about street fighter, strider, tekken, captain commando and so on.. This is a good game, if you like rpg of course!! And buy all the anime and manga you can while you stay in Japan.

Oh man! I want to travel to Japan too...

If I find a cheap used copy of Namco x Capcom, I'll give it a try. I won't buy any anime and music cds in japan, because they are extremely expensive. 50$ for 1 dvd and 30$ for a cd is crazy...

Kakizaki, I would like to hear your suggestions. I'm open to anything.

I already bought most ps1 and ps2 megaten games. I still haven't found Persona 2: Innocent Sin and Soul Hackers tho. SMT 2 is kinda expensive, but I'll buy it eventually.

I was thinking about buying those ps2 Wizardry games. Have anyone played them?

I will be leaving Japan in a few months, so I would like know if you have any suggestions of Japanese ps1 and ps2 non-mainstream games that I should buy while I'm in Japan.

I'm especially a fan of dungeon crawlers, hardcore rpgs and cyberpunk style games, but anything is fine.  Well, maybe except pachinko games and dating simulations, unless you know a really exceptional one.

thanks

I would be glad to help Gideon Zhi on Soul Hackers, but I'm pretty sure he wants to finish this project alone.

Well, if anyone is willing to put the time in hacking any megaten games or scanning megaten books, please let me know mickey

Well, are there any other megami tentei works that are worthy to be translated?

I don't know much about rom hacking, but how would that game be more difficult than SMT1 and SMT2 to hack?
10  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Tokyo 202X / SMT if... and Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei on SFC translations on: March 30, 2007, 12:06:46 AM
Anyone would like to see translations of those two games? I'd like to do it but I'd need somebody to do the hacking and patching stuff so I can concentrate only on translation. Anyone is interested?
11  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / IMAGINE Online / Re: SMT: Imagine on: March 23, 2007, 02:23:50 PM
yea it should be fine. My laptop is not that bad. Actualy it says when I try to run the game : "Your graphic device doesn't support pixel shader so you can't play the game" or something like that...

I'll try to update my drivers. Maybe that's the problem.

Hi. I'm currently studying in Japan so I'm buying as much megaten stuff as I can. I recently bought SMT: Nocturne Maniacs for 150$. It kinda hurts compared to the normal version that I bought for 5$, but it well worth it!

The psx Persona games and Soul Hacker are really hard to find. I hope I'll find them someday!

yoroshiku!

my laptop is too crappy to run that game frown
14  MEGAMI TENSEI™ Uncensored / Tokyo 202X / Re: SMT Nocturne Maniacs questions on: March 23, 2007, 02:37:34 AM
Are you playing the US version? I guess it's different from the Japanese version.

As you probably already know, in Japan, they are 2 versions of SMT3(Nocturne version and the Nocturne maniacs version). In the maniacs version, when you start a new game, it gives you the ability to load a Nocturne game to get some bonuses(cannot load a maniacs game).

In the maniacs version, this is the only way to get the bonus stats points and the Hangon-Shinshu. A new game+ won't allow you to get those in the maniacs version. It will only allow you to get a new outfit and the bonus press turn.

ok, but I loaded a normal Nocturne game to get the Hangon-Shinshu and +1 bonus to all my stats. Will I keep those bonuses in a new game+?
