Never played the first one but the second game looks very interesting and seems to already highly anticipated! :) Anyone else looking forward to it?

RPGamer (http://www.rpgamer.com) has up two scans from a magazine and if you haven't played the first one, well you'll have a chance to play it on the PSP. The game will be called Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and have new features on it. Pretty neat if you ask me.^^

I enjoyed the first one, but I feel like it's one of those titles that winds up getting hyped up because it's not very easy to find. It's a very good game, mind you, but I don't know that it's worth the $100 or so I sold my used copy for.

I am interested in any new ones, however. It did have some interesting character usage and the dungeons were entertaining because they were kind of a strange platform/RPG hybrid.

My brother will have a heart attack when he hears about this :smug:! He loves norse mithology and is a diehard fan of the first game.

Anyway, the artwork is amazing, much like the first game, but I´m really interested in the soundtrack... (high expetations)
One thing comes to mind: Didn´t the Ragnarok ocurred in the first game :confused:?

From what I understand, the PSP title is a prequel and involves Lenneth's sister or something to that effect.

Really? I thought the PSP one (Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth) was just a port of VP1. The PS2 one (Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria) will focus on the youunger sister of Hrist (the Valkyrie before Lenneth), Silmeria. Back in the day, I guess.  (Note: Big, Big, BIG VALKYRIE PROFILE  SPOILERS ON THIS LINK)This will probably make more sense (http://crystal.leamonde.net/characters/silmeria.shtml).

I don´t think so, since the story is set before the first game (or so I´ve heard). It´s a shame though. Belenus was so cool...

I doubt any of the fallen humans will show up in this one, but there seems to be at least one familar face (http://the-magicbox.com/0512/game051226c.shtml).
