Title: Second Skin - A Documentary on MMOs Post by: mienai on January 29, 2008, 02:56:18 PM Pure West Films presents Second Skin, a documentary about virtual worlds and the gamers who play them. It's just been completed and is in the final round of SXSW (they're saying it has an extremely good chance of getting in- official announcement Feb 5th) where it might premiere. The filmmakers are in talks with HBO and The Sundance Channel about distribution, and are waiting to talk to theatrical distribution companies at the festival.

I'm interested to see how this documentary develops... as an ex-player of WoW and still a current player of some MMORPG's. Plus I didn't like paying the monthly fees, I bought Guild Wars for $10 and played it for a bit, but I haven't become addicted to it yet.
